If I weren't a level 13 Ranger, I would never have found the staging area. I needed to literally follow footprints, use a compass, ask for directions, and use Google Maps to locate it. 24 hours after the war, I'm still so sore I literally can't walk. It was totally fucking worth it. Highlights!

- Getting shot directly in the middle of my forehead. Perfect shot from 60 feet. Don't remember who did it, but they deserve a beer.
- Awesome +Bow dogfight with Cheesy
- THE BULL STOPS HERE!!
- Tactical PistolSplat/FuryFire/Longshot
- Lots of Longshots kicking ass!
- Max the Maximizer finally giving up the ghost. My regards to the bereaved, DX.
- Walking in 1.5 hrs late, into the most confusing game type I've ever played
- Intense fighting in a cool woodland setting. Cool in the 'got frostnip while reloading' sense.
- Meeting Lucian, Cheesy, Z80 (who goes to my school!) et al
- Reuniting with DX, Skitzo, etc
- After I refer to my Berserker: "Hey, you're that guy!"
- The above happening FIVE TIMES. They literally called me "that guy" every time.
- FuryFire sucking worse than your mom

I'll add more as I remember 'em. Awesome photography by Cheesy really jogs the memory.

Great war, this was the first war I have went to that was below freezing and it was a blast.
It was cold and uncomfortable, I am completely out of darts, most of my guns, and my body are broken but it was well worth it.

Highlights:
-Meeting some cool new players; Extra Cheesy Pizza, Lucian, and JATDO etc.
-"Rivalry" with Max all day
-Playing the first round without a proper shirt
-The barrel on my RFSG breaking so it was just barely long enough to fit a whole dart and still getting a kill with it
-Plunger tube on my TTG busting out mid round
-Getting a few kills with my BNA
-“Ride the bull” being a success and a failure at the same time
-Breaking out two raider clips when the time was just right in order to defend ourselves from the bull
-Raider/Streamline baseball with Max
-Titan Kid popping up from the same place multiple times with the same result of panic and death from my team
-Shooting someone, sliding down an ice covered rock face and capturing a flag all at basically the same time
-Zack’s +pistol
-Making battle plans with Zack, only to be ambushed by a raider
-"Are those Dunkaroos!?"
-Sliding down a larger, ice covered rock face while trying to escape the zombie horde
-Trampling through the mud while running from zombies, turning to ask the person next to me for something while running, realizing they were actually a zombie, firing my longshot, longshot jamming, my face being eaten
-“Max” demolishing himself
-Not selling anything I was planning to
-Using a raider clip for the first time
-Buying raider clip

That was awesome, even though "Max" finally kicked the bucket. I hope to fix it up in time for BCNO.

Highlights -

- I finally got with the times and outfitted Max the Maximizer with an RSCB. It double shot sometimes, didn't shoot uphill well, and led me to run out of ammo much of the time, but overall was a major improvement.

- Good turnout and always nice to meet new people.

- Titankid didn't have a titan

- Defense during "Ride the Bull". I never really considered raiders to have a good war use until that.

- Revamped nitefinder doing some damage during that round.

- Outpost being great fun as usual. Started out boring as I was on defense, but it really got good when the tide turned and we lost several bases. I rushed up to take one back and like 5 of our people were then able to respawn. The flags were a great upgrade.

- Being the last survivor in Zombies. I rarely lose that gametype - you can't tag what you can't catch.

- Headshot on Skitzo. He was behind a large rock and there was nothing else to aim at.

- Actually finding my own darts sometimes

- Having "Max" blow up at the end of the FFA round. I was on a killing spree, 6 kills in less than 2 minutes, when I pulled the lever back and it went boom - the case completely cracked in half. I was worried about the cold making the plastic brittle, but it held up fine until then. When I fix Max, I probably will limit its use in future cold wars, falling back on an air gun instead.
