We had a great time at SOFA at Langford, and it should be great for a winter war.
The Rules: Wear eye protection. Don't be a douche. Take your hits, bring enough darts, pick up your darts, and bring actual guns. If you don't have appropriate weaponry, say so. One of us will gladly hook you up with something. But trying to run a primaries round when your teammates are carrying weak weaponry is lame.
Make sure to bring some sort of real (NF) springer pistol. The only airgun allowed in pistol rounds, at all, is the SSPB. We WILL be doing pistol rounds, and probably quite a few of them. There's really not an excuse to show up with no pistol, and if you do, you'll be sitting out some fun, fun rounds.
There will be a lot of powerful guns on the field. I highly encourage you to use either single BB darts, or (preferably) slug darts. I would really prefer to not see slingshot darts on the field, and this has rarely been a problem, since hardly anyone uses them down here. Let's keep it that way.
The Ban List: Melee weapons, plugged singled BBBBs, plugged titans, and any hopper clips holding more than 4 rounds. Any homemade airguns will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis--not that I expect anyone to bring one. Also, if you bring a modded RFSG, bring a backup. I will not be allowing more than one RFSG on any one team. And if you bring anything crazy, like a JOBAR or a converted water gun, I expect it to be used politely. Also, I reserve the right to remove any gun that I deem dangerous from play.
Games: Copious amounts of FFA and 3:15 deathmatch, with a side of gunslinger. I do not plan on doing a zombie round, unless I need a few minutes in which to take a siesta. No long stops between rounds, and if a round goes on too long, the remaining parties will be confined to a smaller area to shoot it out. I have no intention of watching one dude chase another dude for a half-hour.
