The event is a war between the soldier class and the demoman class. Each class will be getting 3 new unlockable weapons. Whichever class gets more kills on the other, will win a special 4th weapon for their class.

The soldiers were up by 100,000 kills as of 9:57 yesterday.

Ya, basically what leet said. I can't wait to see what the 6 new weapons will be! I have a hunch that the new melee weapon will be some type of "shovel" that does more damage when you have low health. 200-X=Y, where X is your current health and Y is the damage that will occur. EX: 200-87= 113 damage on strike.

WAR on TF2 is really fun. I think demo deserves the extra update but it looks like soldier is going to win.

I don't believe there available to the players yet, its just those are the first two unlocks for the demo.

They used somewhat confusing wording, but I think they meant that only the Demoman would get a preview today, and that the entire patch will just be released all at once at the end as usual. Even then we'll still have to hope we get lucky with the random drops.

I got the alien and zombie shooter games, which seem to be pretty fun from the small amount I've played so far. I also picked up Half-Life 2 Deathmatch, but I couldn't find any vanilla servers and I didn't enjoy any of the custom maps people were playing at all. Looks like I'll be sticking with TF2 for now.

I might pull out my old Half-Life anthology disc and install some of those games next year. Does anybody still play Team Fortress Classic?

Word to the wise, Never over clock a GTX260.

Then again, there is no reason to. But seriously, if you card can already run Crysis at high (Not very high, just high) then you shouldn't overclock it. It will give you errors up the ass.

Does steam sell Saboteur? If you, everyone should buy that game. Its totally worth it.

If anyone wants a trial of Shattered Horizon, tell me. It came with three, and none of my friends can run it.

Seriously, though. If your PC can run crysis on full, then it will run this on med-high settings. If your computer can run crysis on low-mid then it MIGHT run this on the very minimum. I'm only going to give you the trial if you can run it.

I reccommend everyone get the Eidos package while you still can, it's a fucking steal. Arkham Asylum is worth it alone, but this is packed with sick games.
