Did anyone else notice the design of the stock. Like the Recon and LS it holds a clip, but it looks to me like it holds it off to the side rather than the center of the stock like we have seen with previous clip blasters. It kind of looks like a fender to me, like on an old style car. If it has the same setup on both sides, that means it can carry 2 clips for reloading instead of just one. Not a major innovation but a nice little upgrade none-the-less.
It also holds it sideways, hopefully allowing for reloading on the go.
Looks like the stock is a little on the short side.
It's a toy made for children, what do you expect?

Guys Stop posting,
these are the Current facts we have:
-There is gun being released in the Spring of 2010
-The gun is named the LongStrike
Current Speculation:
The gun appears to be normal plungered, due to:
-No housing for the reverse plunger
-Large slot for the handle, similar to the LS
-Stated "Fires 35ft!!!" more than the recon
That's about it. And thanks Angela who helped me with these pictures.. It looks huge in her hands.
HOLY CRAP!

This looks great it appears to be the same as the Longshot considering it is under the class of a cs-6. I only hope that it is and it is not like the crap recon.
You must not realize that the Recon and Raider are also labeled CS-6 as well.

Also, would they be so devious as to retain moose, bears, and wolverines as legal council?

That is true, up to the point where Talio gets a hold of it, then much depends on his sugar levels, general mood and whether the Steelers won or lost their last game.

True. Well, I've found the discussion to be reasonable so far. Talking about plunger type and all. But if someone was to post OMG OMG OMG itz a nerf sni.per rifle! FOR LULZ!!!1.... we may be screwed.

Hopefully the internals are a little less complicated than the longshot.

That front barrel piece definitely looks removable. I say that is certain, it makes sense and looks the part for sure.
It surely looks like it, also with the fact that the Longshot and the Recon both had removable barrels, but that wasn't the case with the Raider. I also am almost certain that the barrel is removable, but the aesthetics of the gun without the front barrel is terrible in my opinion.
Anyways, I don't believe the gun would change in this "prototype" version, because advertising this in the brochures does not make any sense if it was prone to changing. Thus knowing it probably would not change, the bolt action would surely be different, more or less complicated than the Longshot's mechanism.

After what we had,
But I’m just not the angel you knew.

I think the plunger stroke looks a bit longer than that of a LS.
Expecting to squeeze 30 more feet out of it (compared to the longshot, of course)? I really hate these new handles and the designs.
