I found this when I was checking my RSS feeds:

This dude modded his son's Power Wheels Silverado into a working Oompa-Loompa-scale Warthog from Halo. Best part: He modded a Vulcan to look like the chaingun and mounted it on the back!

For all the real nerds in the audience, he found that an 8.4 volt power source in the Vulcan gave the best balance of ROF and reliability.

Are you retarded? Video games did not cause that. There's so much other media out there that will draw children to firearms anyway.

But really, nothing media related is at fault. But you know who is? The parents that allowed a 12 year old kid (who obviously was a dumb ass in the first place) to have (or were dumb enough to have laying around) a .22 caliber rifle. People like to blame things like this on video games because its easier than accepting their shitty as hell parenting skills as the cause for the death of their child.

Also, if you're going to own a gun and have kids, people, gun safety and teaching your kids about the horrible things they can do is an excellent place to start.

Please shut up. The kid would have killed himself playing out something else anyways. The problem is parents that don't teach their kids the difference between video games and reality.

I have to chime in too. Videogames and guns don't cause kids to die. Stupid parents cause kids to die. I have been shooting guns since I was about 5 years old, and I knew to only shoot when I was with my dad, and I knew exactly how they worked and that they weren't toys. Gun education saves lives.

If the kid gets on the back the vehicle will wheelie or even flip backwards, and when he is driving the Vulcan wil slam into his head while turning, other than that it looks nice....

(Although I think the colors would be more greenish instead of grey)

I think what they might just do is have the passenger shoot the vulcan and proceed to pwn them nooblidites, and use a nF Magnum replica as a fall back. Still, I always dreamed of making this kind of thing man! Just with a chain blazer or something instead....

I'd be interested to see the Vulcan in action, all the videos are simply the kid driving around. I've seen one picture with the kid holding the Vulcan detached, anyone know how the guy mounted it on the 'warthog'?

While I certainly can't say for sure - the Vulcan has a removable tripod mount (which isn't even all that useful) that has a quick-release mechanism. He probably just glued the tripod, or just the quick-release mech, to the Power Wheels jeep - allowing the Vulcan to be attached quickly. If he really went all out, he attached the quick-reliease to a swivel-mount of some kind.
