I was just wondering if anyone knew the best way of attaching a 12 gram Co2 cartridge to a nerg gun and how you would do it . Pics would be great if you have them!

After looking at Zero's Homemade valve: Here
I was wondering if I would be able to have a tubless tire valve coming out where the tank/pump attachment is now and attach a Co2 cartridge directly to that?

Just curious, where do you find non-paintball, airsoft, airgun CO2 adapter that fits onto PVC? I was thinking of turning my homemade into a CO2 powered gun, and I couldn't find any at Home Depot.

To answer your first question, without a regulator, the pressure at which standard C02 cartridges are held would likely burst your Nerf gun. Sure, you can try it with homemade weapons, but I would start small and work your way up, unless you're used to working with C02.

If you wanted to get a valve from a paintball gun that origanally used 12 gram like boltsniper did you could buy a brass eagle talon (which boltsniper used) or a brass eagle blade that yakman used to make a fair mod on.

sorry about the double post. So PVC can't take the pressure from Co2?

Ya like Janga said it would probably blow up, it could be a grenade.... send shrapenal all over.... stuff like that.... were did I see the comic were the person put a CO2 cardidge to a gun and it blew up and like destroyed his eye... Hmmm I just can't remember , oh well Ima go look on E-Bay see if any new guns came up.

You could use a regulator. Or you could not use C02 because its expensive and not really worth it...

I had hooked a Splitfire up with a Co2 system from one of those Brass Eagle paintball guns. Unfortunetly, the gun (dubbed "Lucky", due to it's survival of another one of my early, foolish ideas) blew out it's entire release system. 'Twas quite a mess. I would not reccomend this, due to the fact that no matter how much you regulate, it will never work effeciantly on a Nerf blaster due to the weak inards, and the fact that you are better of with using them as is.

They do have CO2 Bike Pumps, in which you can use instead of a regular hand pump on a homemade. Of course, unless you regulate the amount of CO2 used per shot and don't use PVC if you're going for a big PSI, darts will rip and/or PVC will burst. And that is uglier... than VACC... Not like I've seen him before, I just couldn't think of a comparison. Oh yeah, and it's also scarier than CX's floating head.

Holy flying fsck. How long ago was that? And crap. I offically hate Canadian TRUs... God, Me and Spectre found fucking Ripcords from 1998, and that's bloodywell it.

I feel so alone... and without a good Nerf store.

Actually, I think those guns were in FAO Shwartz in New York, when Cx went at the beginning of last year. When I find the thread that was posted in, I'll edit my post.
