It looks like the Arrowstorm doesn't have a special sticker, just a NERF logo.

That seems to be correct. All the same, I would be interested in obtaining an example of the original sheet which would have been packed with one, since that's the only thing missing from my "MIB" example.

So you want a scan of the original sheet? WHy not just print out the logo into sticker form and put it on the gun?

To keep this thread alive I peeled off a 3k sticker... It's a little crumpled because of my peeling but it works...

Neither option is acceptable.
Are you familiar with the concept of "mint in box"?

Are you familiar with the concept of "an example"? It doesn't necessarily have to be the original. I think this is why you're tagged as "generally being an ass."

Not exactly rare, but I have the NERF 40th anniversary sticker... and an AT2K sticker, I'll gladly scan/take pictures of either.

I'm going to the beach today and my camera is at the bottom of a suitcase. I'll take the stickers with me and take pictures at the beach.

I peeled off the sticker from a Supermaxx 1500. It's a little dirty but it's the best one I could get off of the four I have.

Nice 1.5k sticker. On a whole other subject, could this get pinned? I think it is a very useful thread for all of the people who want their blasters to have decals...

Here's what I have at the moment:

Good condition SM5k:
Posted Image

And a not so great condition ST9k...they're old...it was kinda beat up. This was the best I could do. If anyone has the time, patience, and software to clean these up and send them to me, I will be forever in your debt:

And I wouldn't disagree with this being stickied. Doesn't have enough yet. We need to bulk it up with some more content first.

Do you think that we could get those in a bigger size? I can take a whack at redoing the st9k sticker, but would rather have it in a higher resolution/bigger size...

Wow, thanks. I also got a PM today from another member who re-did them. If anyone can do it, but change all the letters/numbers that are green to silver, that would be awesome. Here's an image to work with:

All I need is the edges cleaned up and made smooth.

You mean Jesus doesn't get you an extra 20 feet?
I blame insufficient praising of his name. If you don't cross yourself and point to the sky after every minor achievment how is a higher power supposed to know that you are pleased with his mad sacred game?-VACC

Does anybody have any ideas for preserving stickers?

I have a beautiful Secret Shot 1 with near pristine stickers on it, and want them to last. Seeing as this Blaster is 15 years old I'm pretty sure they won't hold up to much abuse.

As a precaution, I'll be working on getting a good scan of them, in case anyone wants them (or I eff them up and need new ones). This brings another question. Has a conclusion been reached about how to safely remove old stickers like these, or is it better to scan whilst the stickers are still on the blaster? The set on my E-a-B weren't very nice, but attempting to remove them thoroughly ruined them, and that was technically even younger than the SS1.

I'm pretty sure you could take the gun apart. Take the shell with the sticker on it. Soak it in water, and peel
the sticker off.

I am not sure if this is the right way to do it so don't unless someone else confirms it, but I'm pretty sure it would work.

Thanks for the suggestion Moonlight, but I can certainly vouch that in my experience this is not a good idea. This type of sticker (which are the same as the ones on the E-a-B ) are very much like paper. They may have had a coating at some point, but it's most likely long gone if there ever was. On the E-a-B, all the water was able to do (even when just simply trying to scrub them off after they were ruined) was to soften the paper itself.

I think our best hope would be some way to loosen the glue's hold, but I havent the foggiest on a good way to do this.
