Thanks so much for making the diagram and the list! If and when you get a chance, a video would be pretty cool too. Thanks again so much for showing us this awesome creation of yours.

Your very welcome. Unfortunately I don't have access to anything capable of taking video. My camera is old.

Wow, I have to say. Originally, I more skimmed through, noticing cleanliness and got the basic idea. Now, I've actually read through it, and that picture makes it so much easier to understand. Again, I must say nice work, and like those before me, thank you. I will be re-creating this as an option opposed to my manual breech seen here (Insert link in a moment). That way I have multiple options. I must say, one plus for me is that it's removable. I really like that about it, and that was one of my main goals.

Another was something else that you accomplished. Having a portion of the breech slide into the plunger tube. Well executed, again. I am so glad to see all of my ideas done out so beautifully (Even though they came from your head for this project), but you have no idea how similar this is exactly to what I was designing. Your design though is much simpler, I believe. Mine was a bit complicated, but I think I will go through with it at some point, just to see. Anyway, again, nice work. Sorry I double posted, but that picture really did help my understanding of this breech's operation.

Thank you so much for all the compliments  Good luck with your designs.
Also, I don't see any double-posts...

Thanks for the offers guys, but I'm afraid I would be selling these. Sorry.

Sorry for what?

Um... sorry for disappointing people? I don't know, I guess I apologize too much.

Good work

It's a good clean mod with maximum practicality.

I'd do the same thing if i had the time, money and patience.

Well done

Thanks!

Well, not in succession...but earlier in the thread. Haven't quite figured out yet if that's acceptable or not.

A double-post is when you post in succession instead of just editting your previous post. Simply posting multiple times in the same thread should be fine, as long as those posts aren't otherwise objectionable. So no worries.

I think this mod deserves a spot in my sig.

Dang, man, that's pretty impressive. Thank you for posting this, because I'm modding a PAS for a friend, and this fits the bill completely. The breech seems like it would be a little difficult to make (though I guess that's kind of a given with Angel breeches) since it's not inside the actual gun, but instead housed inside PVC. Regardless, great job.

Nice work.
A write up and video are definitely in order.
I suggest you make another one while taking photos along the way.
Then sell one of them. People seem to be interested.
I am wondering if this will out do the K9 special.

I don't get my kicks out of you,
I don't feel the way I used to do.
I know its bad,
After what we had,
But I’m just not the angel you knew.

I think this mod deserves to be entered in the modification contest.

No, no. Slow down. Don't enter it. Yes, it deserves it, but don't enter it yet. What people aren't realizing is that anything that they submit from now until the deadline is eligable. What if you come up with something even better along the way, and this is already entered? People are rushing to submit things when they could have a stroke of genius later. This saves the idea, and gets it out there. So now you can enter it whenever you want. He'd also need a writeup.

I'll have to agree with angel, a writeup is most certainly in order. I may be willing to purchase the other one if you make another...

And for me, it does outdo the K9special. Although I really like both blasters, this can swap clips, rather than having to reload a full one after you take all of your shots with the K9special.

Here's that link I promised, by the way: http://nerfhaven.com...showtopic=16332

That's my manual breech that I plan on having to interchange with my pump actuated one when I finally make it.

You should take advantage of the spring clip and use it right side up instead of making it so that it is like a gravity-fed-clip. However, you will probably have to change up the CPVC slider configuration. This will most likely improve accuracy because the clip is currently blocking most of your view it seems. When the Raider comes out, you could use the 25 round drum!

I'm considering it, but I know my score would suffer greatly because of the lack of a decent write-up.

No I didn't.
That "Sorry." was short for "I'm sorry" You read it with the wrong inflection.

Unfortunately, I have no means of taking video.
I'm also running low on brass (which is fucking weird considering how much I bought), so making another one of these may be out of the question as well.

EDIT:

I thought about that, too. I want to wait and make sure I don't have anything better by the deadline.
That manual breech is similar to what I had on my PAS before I made this

It was much easier to have the clip on top because of the CPVC slider. The clip isn't really in the way since I almost always hip-fire my guns.

In order to use the 35-round drum, I would need some kind of additional support. That thing would wobble all over the place, and probably rip itself right out of the breech.
That would be awesome, though.

That is awsome! Very creative and well executed. A couple of questions, where do you get a PAS and does the fact that it is clipped reduce the performance compared to a PAS that just uses a regular single barrel?

No. No. No. I'm sorry, but I can't be happy right now. And I'm not going to be the kind of person who goes, "I was thinking about doing this and you stole my idea." I am fucking 90% done. Everything has been done except putting the gun back together. I will shortly be PMing an admin and seeing if I can still enter mine.

I'm not trying to be a dick, but I'm so frustrated right now. Not at you. Just at the fact I was soooo close to being first.

Good job, though. Yours is definitely cleaner than mine.

In regard to my earlier post, here's some proof that I'm almost done. I just need to cut the slot for the coat hanger breech arm. I also need to buy a new orange piece from Cranky.

Whoops, just noticed the bottom brass tube is placed backwards. Anyhow, I'm sorry AssassinNF that I'm clogging your thread, I just need to make this post so that when my write up comes out people know that nothing I did in my mod will have been influenced by your gun. Everything I have done has been original.

Hopefully this will allow my mod into the mod contest, as it should be clear now that I've been planning/working on this for a while now. It also should be pretty obvious that my breech configuration is a lot different, although mine also retracts into the plunger tube (I think that's what yours does, Assassin, just from looking at clip placement. I was thinking of how the longshot worked when I designed my method).

And to everyone else, in order to not bog down Assassin's thread, don't reply to this post. This is simply to prove all I've done is original. I thought this would be the most appropriate place to make this post.

I'm scared. See, none of the guys are going to have to see this thing staring back, getting ready to fire a few of those incredibly white (may I also add firm) darts in rapid succession!!!

I like it, Much better than the last time I saw that, ... thing. Which shot like 20 feet and then Conner laughed and Vulcan owned you. Muahaha.

But how well does it work with that PAS? Last time I put a barrel on that thing it sucked the dart right in. Do you have a stopper?

P.S. No match for the Titan Shotgun.

I got mine from Gander Mountain. You can also find them online. Just don't search for Pump Action Shotgun, it's called the Pump Shotgun. Search "ERTL Pump Shotgun" and you should find it.

The performance is decreased, but it's because of the shorter barrel and not the clip. Once I improve the barrel further, this should compare to standard PAS ranges.

Very well done, AssassinNF, its nice and clean? Ranges? Also, does the clip come out if you turn the PAS upside down?

Thank you
Yes it is, ranges are in the first post, and the clip never falls out.

Thanks for the offers guys, but I'm afraid I would be selling these. Sorry.

WTF? You're right StealthMan. That is a typo. I meant to say "I won't be selling these." Sorry for the confusion, haha. It's fixed now.

No problem at all, Tantum. Feel free to submit your mod when you finish. I have no problem with anyone submitting a mod similar to my SoulReaper. The possiblilty for an adequate write-up for this is slim, so I doubt I will be submitting this anyway.

I'm scared. See, none of the guys are going to have to see this thing staring back, getting ready to fire a few of those incredibly white (may I also add firm) darts in rapid succession!!!

The only reason it sucked is because that breechless deo clip I had on it doesn't work well with my new darts. You don't recall when Craig was owning everyone with it while it had a standard breech on it?

This breech is just like an Angel Breech. The 1/2" brass inside keeps the dart from getting sucked back into the plunger tube.

My blowgun is more than a match for any Titan Shotgun. What makes you think this won't be? :P

Wow, this is incredible. I can't wait to see it in action.

P.S. No match for the Titan Shotgun.

Hahaha, yes of course, my titan will own....that is...unless the vulcan gets you first, Assassin.

Thanks Russ.

The only time a Vulcan has ever owned me is when I tripped over your Vulcan during the HvZ round.
