You mean the sm1kish thing that has been mentioned as early as page four?

I just noticed in the Nerf video game several non released guns have been copyrighted. I think were gonna get that shotgun.

Is it just me, or does anyone wonder how the turret's rotating mech will be connected to the pump allowing for a fast, reliable action of the gun? There doesn't seem like a lot of room in the mag well.

I think a lever from the priming handle will act as a door so when you pull back, it will release a dart into the "chamber" or "rifled barrel". Then, there will be a door type of mechanism blocking the dart/shell from being pushed out of the release. Then, when you push the priming handle forward it will somehow lock the dart in the chamber and push the plunger "push" forward as in a longshot. Afterward, pull the trigger and the spring will be re-leased. That is just how I think it will work though.

I have seen a few posts about a red recon in this thread and remembered something. I recently purchased a recon for my brother's birthday. In the box was a little advertising paper with a few things on it. I noticed it had a code to win a specially painted recon. (red, with gold bits) I didn't notice it at first but it is for the wii game, not a real recon. I'm not sure if that's what people are talking about, but I was hoping it might clarify on the subject.

That might be it. There is a red and black Recon in the game. Kind of a disappointment if that's what the rumors are about.

I'm getting this, nonetheless. Hopefully the NIC can pump some mods out soon. I know I'll be trying my best to find some!

My mod:

Step 1: Remove drum from Raider.
Step 2: Insert drum into Angel-breeched Longshot.
Step 3: Laugh Maniacally.

Step 3 is required.

If you look at the magazine, it has no pegs. You could use stefans if they fit the barrel. Don't worry too much about using streamlines. It will probably have a few choices of modded darts. You could probably use converted stock darts too. (all depending on the length of the darts of course.)

I wonder if anyone would try to move the cocking mech to somewhere else and integrate something. It looks possible.

I saw at least one person say it will hit stores in June, is that true? If so, I am very glad.

I have a gut feeling that it's spring is going to be weak, hopefully that doesn't mean a weak plunger head. Hopefully a nitefinder spring replacement (not addition) along with AR removal will get it to a decent range.

(I'm on a bunch of pain meds because of surgery right now so any incoherency is due to that. Also my mom won't let me finish modding my maverick because she doesn't trust me with the hacksaw, dremel, screwdriver, or hammer right now. =( )

My Pistol shoots across the street.

Now that I said it that way, doesn't it just make the recon seem bad?

As neither of us has ever seen your lawn nor your street, your point is lost on the audience completely. In my opinion, the recon serves its purpose well in close quarters. At medium to long range, give me a longshot, or just about anything else, any day.

It hasn't been released. Hence, "speculation" thread. It tends to help if you read the words and not just look at all the pretty and colorful pictures. This doesn't work like Dr. Suess.

Thanks Oni Kadaki. I was thinking the same thing. The Stock recon and Longshot get almost equal distances and the recon is alot smaller. It seems like the raider is going get the same ranges. If so it will be intiresting.

People have been saying that they saw it dropping at around 15 feet. Hopefully it won't be like that when it hits the shelves.
