I know it's a long shot from probably being so, but why else would it be there?

It looks so much smexier over a white background. This picture doesn't really add anything, but it still belongs in this thread. I don't think it's been posted before.
Thanks, Moon.

Sorry if this has already been posted, but if you look at the pic in the link, you can see a orange tab on the stock. Could this mean the stock maybe interchangeable with the recon's?

Thats a realy good observation. It might be already mentioned in this thread, but I don't remember so. Anyhow, the orange tab looks just about exactly like the one on the recon. If the stock is interchangeable, then we could put our recon stocks (for those who still have them) in the trash and try out this one. It looks sturdier at any rate.

The stock may be the final push for convincing me to get this thing.

I think it's a pump action recon in disguise.

I have to agree with bam here, it looks surprisingly, a lot like the recon. :/
It is pretty much the pistol with a permanent barrel and stock. If you look at the body it is identical to the recon pistol.

l33t can you please give me a quote on where it said the Fury Fire was a springer?
Furyfire - holds 10 darts. Instead of cocking the gun back, like the Maverick, etc. you'll pump the handle at the front of the gun, like a shotgun. This will load the gun, and then you can fire with the trigger, then repeat. Basically a newer and better version of the Dart Tag (10 dart version). Actually it's a lot more similar to the Maverick, in terms of how the gun is designed. Only real difference is that the rotating barrel is more like the Firefly, and the pump is at the front, for "easier and faster firing". It's not an air powered gun, with an air pump and a tank. It's spring loaded, like the Maverick, Raider, etc.

As much as I hate proving people wrong... Actually I'll really enjoy it in this case. The furyfire is a pump action gun. I am now 99% sure. Look at the two furyfire guns.
Notice how the green one on top has the priming handle fully extended, while the orange on on the bottom is only half extended. If this were a spring powered gun there would be a second spring pulling the handles back up so the plunger tube could properly fire.
So there it is. They use an air tank.

If you're not 100% sure, stuff it. NO ONE KNOWS until we get our grubby mitts on one.
This is why we're closing the other speculation threads. Everyone HAS TO BE THE EXPERT BASED ON WHATEVER THEY SEE IN PICTURES.
Can't anyone just go "oooh" and "aaaah" anymore?
The ONLY reason why we keep this open is so all the B.S. can be concentrated in one easy-to-read (or avoid) thread. We're moderating it so it doesn't get out of hand.
Please behave everyone. We'll all see the Raider sooner or later (sooner is better of course).

Excuse me sir, allow me to point out a possible error in your theory. As I remember with the Buzzbee Belt Blaster, the cocking mechanism was used for two things. 1, to cock it, 2, to load a new dart by rotating the mech. You would cock the handle back half to prime the gun, or all the way to cock and rotate it. And as i remember, the Buzzbee belt blaster could still be fired when the cocking handle was only pulled back halfway.
So i would not be so quick to decide if the Furyfire will be a air gun or not.

The Furyfire is most likely an air gun because if you compare the stroke length and the area where a plunger tube could be there isn't enough space for it without having it protrude, which as you can see in the pic of the orange one with the pump/priming rod halfway it obviously doesn't.l33t can you please give me a quote on where it said the Fury Fire was a springer?

I know this isn't a Furyfire thread, but I'd just like to say that I think the guns look pretty cool :)
I wish they sold them in a single gun set, without the extra junk (vests, etc.) though. I'll have to buy one off someone here :)
Also, has anyone noticed the little gray bit under the 10 dart turret/barrel? I wonder what that's for ;)
So what does everyone think about the Raider's digital camo?
In good light you can see it fairly well... it's more like a specular bump map than a texture, in graphics terms.
Also, the Raider's "clip" holder is a bit more reinforced than the Recon and Longshot. I wonder how the drum will go in them... or if it'll cause them to break if too much pressure is put on the connection between the drum and guns... that would be bad...

I would bet that it's just a "for show" piece, I don't think that it really does anything. Also, has anyone noticed the little gray bit under the 10 dart turret/barrel? I wonder what that's for

Looks like a latch to me. It would be interesting to see if they've made it a removable clip, like some maverick mods. Reloading looks like it'd be inefficient since even the maverick had the clip swing out. Too bad there weren't any other good pics of the boxes to see if that's the case.
Well..... Even if the screws were there, and it was a latch, it wouldn't be removable. If Hasbro had manufactured a new clip system, they would be advertising it like crazy. It would say something like this in HUGE LETTERS....... TAKE YOUR BLASTING POWER TO THE EXTREME WITH THE NEWEST CLIP SYSTEM IN THE N-STRIKE ARSENAL...... Blah blah blah. It would be nice, but it won't happen.
