I've been working very slowly on a primary for this war and am really pumped! I had a question about the balls for the ball round. The little excerpt from the first page talks about adding weight to the NERF ballistic balls for better range. How much weight are we talking here? I'm thinking not much bigger than a quarter inch ball bearing. Does anyone have experience with this?

Yes, I haven't actually done it with any of the Nerf balls, but I used some ball bearings in the little K-Mart balls. You really don't need much. 5-8 grams is plenty. I was using the difference in mass between the golf balls at 12g, and the nerf balls at 5g as a guide.

There have been some things that have come up recently that are likely to prevent me from attending this war. I can't really get in to details, but we will need to play it by ear. I will be in touch if things change, and I will still come by and update the thread when needed.

Also, I'm not going to be able to send you the spacers if you don't come. It has to be in person to avoid my parents from bitching.

We all still down for this despite the change of plans for the SOF guys? I've already requested the day off so I think i would like to keep it on the same date. As getting weekends off at this point in the summer is next to impossible.

Note, there's still a high possibility that at least me, falcon and apollo will be trying to make it to this one. Also I'm gonna try to find a way to drag cheese boy since his family lives in Seattle now.

Dang, we got alot of changes going on here.

I know I'm definitely down for that date, since I don't got no job.

The only thing that might get in the way is Drivers Ed, but I'm pretty sure missing one day won't cause anyone to get their panties in a twist.

After this war, I think we need to organize another war, because we only have the Wall War at Marymoor that happens yearly. the NOW, Nerf Out in Washington, is one example of a war we could do yearly.

I hope everyone has finished/bought their stefans and blasters, because the war is getting close.

Wow, only 2 more weeks. I'm going to have to run to ACE, I have to make my Titan(That's attached to my BBB) a double barrel.

No stefan supplies though. Anyone willing to make a batch for me and then I could pay you at the war? As long as they fit 1/2 inch CPVC.

Alright, I have to shorten my guest list down to jsut me confirmed and Bomberman as a very, very probable(or confirmed). Of the other friends I was trying to talk into coming, I lost the E-mail of and haven't heard from him since the end of school, and the other's mom is using him as a pack mule at a scrapbooking convention

Just a FYI I will be bringing a bunch of non or lightly modded blasters to the war to sell. So If you want to save shipping on anything I've listed in trading recently I will be bringing them with me. Also I'm going to be making a few batches of darts using my newer foam. Not quite as awesome as the old stuff but still gets the job done.
