The Longshot Contract.
This is a video of a contract completed for a customer in the US.
I must admit this is better than the other front gun integrated Longshots I have built.
Practice makes perfect and this one came through very nicely.
I don't feel the way I used to do.
I know its bad,
After what we had,
But I’m just not the angel you knew.

Your videos are getting better and better. Nice editing!
On the other hand, the guy who posted before me used the word 'fuck' a lot so he probably knows what he's talking about.

One question, does the trigger shoot both front and main at the same time? Or is there a variable trigger pull?

Very nice.
One question, does the trigger shoot both front and main at the same time? Or is there a variable trigger pull?
According to the build, the trigger fires both mechanisms at the same time. The front cocking mechanism, like as it is originally mounted on the front barrel assembly, as only activated by the pump.
I finished up a similar build like this except I made the front end as a last resort mortar, instead of a trigger pull. (Mainly because I couldn't get the trigger to work with the front.)
Forsaken, yet again, another great build.

EDIT: Please note that Wootingtown differs from Wahuutijgntoen, as they are homonyms. Wahuutijgntoen is a nickname for VACC's penis.

So nothing new and groundbreaking was done.
SGM: I can only hope with your skill that one day you will do something completely original.
The main reason I posted this is because it was a cool contract to do and it keeps people up to date with what I have been doing with my time for the hobby.
I don't feel the way I used to do.

I can understand that. I do have a completely original work in progress, but, so far, it is just for cool looks and cool functioning. I'd also like to think that my AT10K is completely original since nobody has ever done it before. If you haven't seen that, you should check it out. I also have a longshot with a mav integration which has linked triggers, and I don't think anyone has done that before since it requires a lot to get both guns to fire from one trigger. It also has a shotgun priming mech, which isn't posted because I got tired of working on it and never assembled it, but nobody has done that before either. I think the problem is that when I design my own things, I am never satisfied with them enough to post them, with the exception of an early version of my LS/Mav, and my AT10K.
Maybe we should just appreciate quality work and his contributions to the community and not bitch.
I do appreciate his contributions. As I said, some of them inspired me. Also, who's complaining? I simply stated a fact that forsaken apparently knew already. If you feel the need to say anything further about it, pm me.

I could no longer hold my tongue, or fingers to be exact. kdizzle was too, simply stating a fact, you were complaining. As I stated before, I felt that you you were a bit bitchy, too. This, I think, is from the as well aforementioned complex you have toward Forsaken, of whom I have great respect, and I think deserves a bit of your respect as well. I can't help but think about you Lancer thread and how rude you were to him there as well. As most of use were taught, form follows function, and what were the two functions for the real Gears of War Lancer? A chainsaw equipped automatic. For all the things you said about how much greater you were than he in your take of the Lancer your still seem to have fallen short on your claim that this was a more true to the game weapon. Now not to sound like you and tear down a great mod ( I love your Lancer and think it is a thing of beauty), but if we were to stick to the rule of form following function, my Lancer is more true to the game than yours. No, it looks nothing like the real Lancer, but it has the two functions of it, it has a chainsaw and it is fully automatic. Not that this has anything to do with what we're talking about here, but it just goes to show that we are not all perfect, no matter what we think (I know that I'm not). Also, who's complaining? I simply stated a fact that forsaken apparently knew already.
I think you either need to fess up to your love of Forsaken, or let it go. There was no need for your original post, we all know that this mod wasn't even his to begin with. I believe it was Dart Attack who came up with the first iteration of this front gun integration.

I have spoken with SGM through pm's and it is to my understanding that he doesn't mean to come off sounding the way he does.
Yes it was Dart attack that came up with the front gun integration first.
I am not taking credit for the integration but I am taking full credit for the breech.

As well you should. That thing is amazing . I've tried to make a few with a write up to go on and for some reason I can't get them to load darts correctly. You had no write-up and yours works amazingly well. I wish I had the ingenuity to make something like that just with the power of my brain, but alas, I'm more inclined to cosmetics than mechanics.

Being in such a position, he's bound to gather a unique assortment of people: from praisers to critics, copycats, haters, lovers, usurpers, and people who are simply content to wait and watch for the next mod. Is SGM any of these? Doubt it, he does seem to be well known for trying to improve (and potentially outdo?) some of FA24's best known mods while evoking somewhat of a cocky attitude in the process. Is this a bad thing? FUCK NO. If whatever motivates SGM or anyone for that matter (I frankly don't care) results in new and exciting things for me to look at, I'm more than glad to see it.
On topic: With that said, I was simultaneously overjoyed and disappointed at this video. Overjoyed because it was another FA24 video, 'nuff said really. Disappointed because there was nothing really new about it that I haven't seen in the other longshot videos.
-------------------------------------------
And who am I? (because apparently I have to state who I am in order to express my opinion). I'm a 23 year old graduate, who recently decided to get into this hobby. I've been collecting the materials and nerf guns to actually perform some innovative mods for a few months now, however the bulk of my interest and effort has been in getting my friends and family into the hobby as well.

If anyone has anything to say about my "Napoleon complex", please pm me or e-mail me or pm me, and I will give you my phone number if you want to give me a call. Having enemies on a nerf forum is one of the dumbest things that could ever happen on the internet.
Also, could someone please explain to me how the following post is arrogant or cocky in any way? It is my response to Forsaken's post in my Lancer thread.
First of all, thanks for the kind words, Forsaken. First of all, I read all my posts that I typed in any of your threads that had anything to do with the lancer, and some of the stuff I said sounds arrogant, and I didn't exactly mean for it to. For a long time when I was coming to this site, you struck me as a cocky person, so I was trying to give you a hard time about it without being too much a of douche. Now that I read them again, I sounded much more like a huge douche, and I didn't mean to. I also now realize that you aren't cocky. My guess is that you come off the wrong way sometimes, and I have the same problem. Especially on the internet. As with what I said about having four switches, I was really just goofing around. I realize how easy it is to mess electronic things up, so I was just playing around, as I told you when you PM'd me. If I offended you, I apologize. My lancer has its bit of problems too, but I won't fix them. Imperfection is beauty for me. Now onto the other stuff.
Yes, the BBB spring in there makes it super awkward, and that's why it won't stay in there. I just stuck in there temporarily from my main longshot.
As for the brown, there really isn't much of that brown at all (it actually isn't brown, it is rust colored, but it does look different in the pics). There is just that tiny bit behind the front of the barrel, and there is a little tiny bit sticking out from behind the red on the bar of the chainsaw. Maybe you are seeing something wrong?
Also, it didn't take six whole months, but it would still be a few solid months for two guys. It definitely did take a lot of work.
If this got on Kotaku, I would soil my pants with excitement.
Again, I am sorry for sounding arrogant. I didn't mean that stuff to sound as bad as it did. I hope nobody will hold it against me. As I have talked with other people, I am not the only one with trouble in internet sarcasm. Thanks, Forsaken.

I don't want this thread to De-rail any farther.
So getting back on topic.
What do other people have to say about this modification.
Have I done this before? Yes.
Have I done a contract on one of these before? No.
Is there a new member to the forums who owns this Monster? Yes.
Would I make another one for the right price? Yes.
Am I expensive? Yes.
I don't feel the way I used to do.
I know its bad,

Since price has been brought up though, forsaken, would you be willing to trade a wooden stock and fore grip set for some modding or guns? I know your long arms would thank you for it
Anyway, things were taken to pm's, and as far as I know, there are no bad feelings anymore, except for maybe kdizzle, but she'll pm me if she feels the need.

And that member is very anxious to get his hands on it. The gun and video both came out amazing, and no, it wasn't original, but it wasn't supposed to be. It was meant to be everything it says at the beginning of that video. I can't wait to see that monster in person...as long as I'm not on the wrong end of the barrel.
