No one has said anything about rescheduling. It will only be rescheduled in the chance of bad weather.

Okay, so just a quick clarification. A pistol is a side arm. It has to be about the size of the pistol. It has to shoot about the same as a nite finder or lock and load. At these wars we're not going to allow anyone to use any gun that will given them any advantage at all. You'll have to just play on a level playing field. If you have any questions about this, think really hard about whether you actually really need to ask it. I mean, do you really not know what a pistol is.

Also, if there is any question about whether a gun will be legal or not, just use something else please. Don't try to make a case for it. I'm done hearing about your hell cannon with 90 valves and dvd player integrated into it, but the pump is plugged. If there is any question, the answer is no. Stop trying to bend the rules.

So yeah, this is supposed to be a relaxing day. So if you have any bad blood you want to work out at the war, or if this is going to be your war where you beat everyone and finally get the recognition you deserve....don't come. Seriously, cause it's not fun to play with people like that. So just take a chill, breath and remember...You're a nerd playing with childrens toys.

I can't underline the above passage enough. We are all gonna be there to have a good time. This is supposed to be fun. So if you lose a round, or aren't doing as well as you'd like, chill out and try something new. If the organizer at any time asks you to do something you weren't anticipating (nerf related, don't take you pants off in front of Talio no matter what he says) just go along with it as we're just trying to make it more enjoyable for everyone involved. I think I speak for Talio when I say that arguing hits, rules, or anything else will not be tolerated.

I don't mean to butt in to the feather rustling... But is it a real problem for you guys to lose darts at wars? I mean, I do my best at manufacturing them, but I always figured they were expendable. Not that I would leave any laying around, but I'm not pissed if I come up a few short. You east-coasters seem rather attached to them.

Hey, I'm just wondering if March Madness will stay as scheduled with the forecast of rain on the weekend. I'd personally rather nerf in the rain than miss a rescheduling, which would happen if it were postponed to the 14th. That and its status will drastically affect my travel plans this weekend. As of now, I will be leaving New London at the crack of dawn for the Jersey Shore, then rushing for Boston the moment the war ends. It would be helpful to know if the war is still on before booking rails and rides.

Well as you guys know, it's far to early to really be able to tell what's going to happen. The weather on the east coast is horrible to predict. So we're kind of at a waiting moment here. The idea is if it's just pissing and kind of warm, we'll keep the date Saturday. If it's pouring and freezing, we're gonna move it.

You quoted Phil and I talking shit about a war you're not going to be in the same time zone as....it really had nothing to do with darts. Honestly, I'm quite baffled. We've been doing this nerf thing for a very long time, you can relax.

As for the weather; if the war were to be called off for this weekend I'd be extremely questionable for next weekend. Just bring your shit kicking boots and man up. Unless it is torrential, nerf can be had on Saturday.

It WAS a 60% chance a couple of days ago. Then again it's supposed to be really warm [a good 50 degrees higher than it was here during practice], so I don't really care if it does rain.

I'm baffled by the weather concern. Last year at Apoc, it fuckin' poured! We were huddled shortly after lunch in the small patch of trees during a thunderstorm trying to stay somewhat dry and protect our blasters. There was a chance of rain for that day, but we all still showed up to play. Sure, it is still winter, but what is worse? Playing in a cold rain, or standing under trees during a violent thunderstorm? Suck it up people. I've played in the rain before. It won't kill you.

The weather for the area states that it will be partly cloudy with a high of 58 degrees. That 10% chance of precipitation is there because of the chance of rain occuring on both Friday and Sunday. Now, the weather predictions could shift between now and Saturday, and it usually shifts on the sooner side (Sunday's forecast becomes Saturday's), but it usually is a good chance that what we see here is what it will be. Any forceasts more than 5 days out will shift.

The only time you see 0% is during a drought, so relax and prepare to get your Nerf on this weekend.

Lol Badger, that reminded me to pack an umbrella this time. I thought I was nice and safe under one of those big trees, but the rain started coming through after a while and I got soaked anyway. Sorry for the concerns, I just wanted to make sure that rain is not an issue, as it would supremely suck to have gotten hyped up over this war and then had it postponed, that's all.
