Might be getting a new 360 in the next 2 weeks, depending on when we find a 12.1 somethin or another gen. Those are the newest gens (3 I believe) on the market. And the ones at the game stores we went to were either the 1st gens (crappy, die swiftly) or 2nd Gens (decent, die slowly).

I wouldn't worry too much about that, cheez. They all break but M$ has had so much practice at replacing them they've become pretty good at it. When one gives out on you it only takes about a week from the time you send it away to the time you get your replacement.
Also, since it's gonna break anyway you want it to break while it's still under warrenty (RRoD isn't the only thing that goes wrong with them) so just get the older model.

Pretty good idea on Infinity Ward's part for releasing the day before Veteran's day, allowing people the alloted day off from school to purchase and play the game. I have pre-ordered it and payed in full, and will be picking it up the day it comes out.

Here's what is going down this weekend pending upon my 360 being purchased. I will have a new GT which I will post. Upon getting the 360 though, my friend is letting me borrow ODST for he only knows how long. I will play for as long as I care to. I say we get a massive game of firefight going, during which I want to beat my cousin and I's record of 300,000 some odd points in an 85 minutes game on easy. I say we go legendary as long as possible. Anyone up? PS this will be on Friday most likely.

I got one of the last copies at any Twin Cities area Targets today, I had them check and fortunately they were able to hold the last one and it was at a store in my city.

I've got a tank and siren at like level 2 or 3, a level 14 hunter, and a level 36-37 soldier on the second playthrough from when I rented it. Hope to see some of you guys online!

I'm going to be getting MW2 on Christmas day, my mother went to the effort of preordering it and everything, only to make me and my brothers wait a month and a half for it. So, I'll be playing, just not at release. Unless of course I can convince her to gift something else. I'm also down for any of the Vidmasters.

Getting my 360 saturday. One of my mother's co-workers was nice and offered to go pick it up for us as both my parents were working that day. I love life right now.

I have it. I signed up for the preview program, and I don't think it's been released to everybody yet. It all works just fine, but there's not much point to twittering on xbox when my computer (and a keyboard) is about 3 steps away. Hopefully some day they let you auto tweet when you get an achievement or stuff like that, because I mostly use Twitter to make all my friends read annoying lame updates about nothing, and if I don't even have to write them it's a win all around!

The three other parts of the update; MSNBC videos, last.fm, and Zune are all ok I guess. There's usually some interesting news or cartoons from MSNBC if you're waiting for a demo to download. I haven't tried last.fm yet, but free music should always be pretty cool. The Zune thing looks like it's just like the renting movie service they already had, but you can buy the movies instead (for what seems to be a pretty inflated price).
