I played the wrong level first. I've played through campain and a few other maps. This game is super bipolar. One level is absolutely awsome and the next one sucks. I like the ONI interior and Lost Platoon are my favorites.

I don't know if other people are into the indie games section of xbox live, but "I MAED A GAM3 W1TH Z0MB1ES 1NIT!!!1" is a crapload of fun. I guess the demo lets you play for 8 min, but the game itself is only a buck.

If you have owned your 360 for I think less than a year than you can send it in for maintenance which should cost less.

If you have a box that fits at home then it's free and you'll get it back in two weeks with a free month of xbox live.

Of course, if you bought it used you're probably screwed.

Microsoft will actually send you a box and packing materials with a return shipping label free. It's called the XBOX coffin. There's an option for it when you register for repair on thier support page.

I got my 360 Christmas of '06, but we've inquired with Microsoft and since it was apparently before what the phone answering fellow said "the date that we instated the 3 year RROD warranty fixer thingy" we only got the 1 year warranty. so my options are A: I can fix it until this Christmas when I can either 1: send it in for $100 (not my choice) or buy my cousin's 360 for the same price (they have 2, both modded to play burned discs) and go from there. But currently I'm going to have my youth leader fix it, because he is really good at it. So I'm doing that for the time being, and I'll just buy my cousin's. Bam.

P.S. Oh, but I did get an ODST firefight round in with my cousin last night. Set 3, round 2 wave 3. A 300,000 point game. On easy though. And we didn't find the loser rifle on Lost Platoon until we were 83 minutes into the game, and then 5 minutes later I had to leave.

P.P.S. I hate telephone answerers for big corporations like Microsoft.

Anyone playing Borderlands? I got it Saturday, and it's pretty sweet. Unfortunately, I don't have many people to play co-op with. I've got a Hunter who just started his second play-through, and a Siren who's still pretty close to the beginning of her first play-through; I'm probably going to make a Berserker or a Soldier soon, as well. If anyone is interested in some co-op fun, my gamertag is Thollos.

I also pre-ordered Left 4 Dead 2; I'll probably be playing that for a good long while after it comes out.
