I don't think I've ever seen a piece of playground equipment that looked so purpose-built for Nerfing before. That thing has it all - great coverage from all sides, easy in-out access from multiple directions, and even a great "observation blind" where you'd feel fairly safe standing up and looking around, but not have to worry too much about incoming fire. And I don't think I even need to point out those little holes in the walls...

If you are talking about the one below, I personally would have no use for it. Of course, most of you guys aren't 30 years old, fat and mildly claustrophobic!

If you want to be completely cornered without the ability to alter your aim laterally, than yeah, perfecto.

The park looks awesome. I've played at similar venues before and, as Ambience said, they're difficult to use during peak nerfing times (weekends while it's light out).

3-6 nights a week, from 7-11 P.M. or later.
This has just gotten big here in the last few month or so (I've gotten 11 or so guys started NERFing, not FORUMing), but I expect the timing to stay similar in Spring and Summer.
Most of us are either in college or seniors in HS, so curfew doesn't matter.

We do this at night as a rule, which changes the game significantly.
For example, we tend to use mostly stock darts, simply because they glow underneath my crazy Black/Mag lite.

It's amazingly fun, and I will say this:

IF YOU HAVE EVER BEEN TO A WAR, YOU SHOULD REALIZE THAT 90% OF THE CONTACT OCCURS WITHIN 60 FEET OF YOUR OPPONENT.

It ain't fun for anyone.
The first round you use a "Hell Cannon" its awesome, but you soon tire of sn¡ping the other team.

I use a Tagger's BBB with the Bow Arms attached as a primary, and rarely need a secondary.

I'll use it at SoF Dallas, for sure, but for close, fast-paced NERFING, an easy to use, single-shot blaster will always be more useful to me than a giant Hell Cannon.

This is why I still contend that the best way to get better at nerfing is to nerf with a small group of friends in open field situations. It's not always the most fun, and certainly not the most practical for larger wars, but learning to make an opponent miss and to capitalize on that miss is more valuable that just about any armament you can make or buy.
