Ok so I'm not sure if this has been done before, but I am going to show you how to mod the Longshot Jam door so that it will open at any time regardless if the bold sled is pulled back or not.

Materials Needed
Longshot jam door
Dremel or X-acto/hobby knife



We will be cutting this part off the jam door (circled in red)



Now take your hobby knife or dremel and cut that peice off so it looks like this



Here is the finished product

Seems like a good job. Nice work, this helps for people who still like the jam-door-look, but still want to be able to see the dart go in.

Not trying to hijack your mod, but a much easier way would be to just simply put the bolt cover behind the boltsled. I've done it accidentally many times.

You could, but it would not close the same as if you had put it in right or done my mod. It would close about 8/10 of the way.

Nice mod I have always liked the jam door, But it sometime gets in the way. Welcome to nerfhaven.

Cool clean mod. I like the jam door but I like seeing the dart also, so I just tossed the door away but now with this mod I can put it back. Good stuff
