I have to ask, did the wire reinforce the gun at all? I'm trying to find a way to reinforce mine.

No, the wire didn't "Reinforce" the gun.
You're going to have to explain what you mean by "Reinforce" because the only part of the maverick that has ever needed reinforcement in my experience is the cocking side which sometimes breaks.

In shooting, Mavericks suck, and this one might. But it looks soooo awesome that I'd never let it get out into a war, or even a shooting test (besides just seeing if it works.)
