Hmmm.... It's basically the Disk Shot with 12 darts, a recon laser light attachment, and a different scope I haven't seen before.

All in all, I wouldn't be too surprised if this came to the US in a couple weeks (or months )

Honestly, that scope looks pretty cool. I'd like it just to paint it and put it on guns for cosmetics...

It looks ok, i guess. But it would be hard to justify spending $40 for a pistol that you can get for $13 in a disk shot expansion pack. A shitty light that can barely reach 10 feet, And a scope that looks cool, but probably sucks just as much as the longshot one.

Final Opinion: Ok, for a 8 year old. For us, useless.

Great find guy. If these ever make it over here, I'd like to tinker with one. I'm wondering if that scope is actually functional. "Now with pinpoint accuracy! Unlike our other scope, which did jack shit!"

My son keeps using the Longshot scope on a Nightfinder. It looks ridiculous, but he's seven, you know? He think it makes him a better shot. It's so silly, though! Why bother with the scopes when there is so much variation in where a shot lands? The dot units are at least semi-useful. Hmm... I should go swap the LED in one of them for a laser... Back later!

It'd be kind of nice if they actually made a scope with some magnification, so if it doesn't help you shoot anything at least you can use it for reconnaissance. Judging from the box description, I'd say it's just a crappy longshot scope with a new look so it matches the yellow N-strike guns.

I think it's hilarious how the scope, attached, is probably going to be longer than the gun.

However, the whole scope magnification necessity gives me an idea...

lets just hope that a scope w/ magnification is actually useful on nerf blasters, or at least some of the long ranged ones...

Shipping is only a little less then a dollar ($0.872) according to my currency translator widget. So that means you can get a Vulcan for only $34 ($34.014) with shipping included.

Where are people getting that the Scope has magnification? I don't understand, it's most likely just another crap one like the LS. If they were ever going to actually make a scope with magnification, they would've for the LS.

We represent such a small portion of Nerf customers, that even if none of us were to buy the guns with dumb scopes and lights, it wouldn't make a difference. The company is going to keep selling blasters that appeal to the majority of littler kids, and the kids like scopes and useless accessories.

I'd be happy to start calling it Element. There are already too many blasters that "DS" could mean.

Well, I wouldn't want to call it E though, EE6, EE, or EEX could make suitable shorthand.

Its purely a disc shot. Think to yourself, if kids couldn't think about getting their finger stuck in a recon. Then think about kids dealing with magnification there is no way that hasbro would put a real scope, because as mentioned kids like useless crap.
