I was wondering if anyone could help me, im going to single my longshot, the way ice did it and then integrate a turreted 2k, so i was wondering if anyone could like drawing in paint to show me where to put the things

Uhh, maybe you should look at the mod itself instead of asking how. As for integrating the 2K, it all about taking the internals and gluing it to the gun. The DTG LS ice made is similiar to what you want so check that out

I'm hoping that your longshot is actually broken. I'm getting kinda of outrageously pissed that just because Ice did it, tons of people are singling their longshots, broken bolt sled or not.

i had the idea to do cpvc before ice did his, i like his mod and so do other people, flame us all but if we want a good longshot let us have it

I suggest doing something like mine. If you want, it's rail mounted and detachable, or you can saw off the bipod and epoxy it on front-gun style.

I'm getting kinda pissed at people getting pissed at people for singling their Longshots. I don't have access to enough brass for an Angel breach, and the CPVC singled Longshot can hit 90' (mine have, I'm sure other ones have gone further). When I singled mine, it opened up new room for my AT2K integration, which I enjoy much more than a simple air restrictor removal.You may be envious of Ice, or just upset for other stupid reasons, but why would you hate a modification that can get that range out of a $30 blaster?

NiteFinder: I just integrated an AT2K into my Longshot, a singled one. Check out my pictures and just don't do the front gun integration, and glue the turret in it's place. I was thinking about doing this, but I could not effectively replace the barrels, so the AT2K didn't have the range I wanted. I now just leave the AT2K loaded with 2-3 darts for a shotgun burst. The ROF is quite slow, so I won't don't use it as often, but it's nice to keep it pumped for that special time when an extra shot is needed quickly.

I seriously, seriously fucking doubt that you had the idea first. What I would do is put it inside the bipod case, and run a wire to the trigger so you can pull the 2k trigger and the ls trigger at the same time.

Because it defeats the purpose of the gun. Does the thought "oh well it takes clips I should single this thing HUH HUH!" seem like a great idea, I mean really? If your longshot breaks beyond repair other than singling, it's a great idea, but honestly, most people can get their longshots up to the 70-90s with everything pretty stock, but added a few new springs. If you want a single shot gun that goes 90 feet, just get a bbbb, or a bbb, it's cheaper and here's the kicker, they're both originally single shots.

Well the "purpose" of the gun is different varying on the user. Just because it comes with clips doesn't mean you HAVE to use them. The Longshot is WAY more comfortable to hold than the BBB, you can load it in the back or the primary barrel (with it singled) so a 2 part barrel isn't needed. This will increase ROF and make it easier to reload. If you don't want to single it, don't. I think it's ignorant to rant on other people because they want the most range out of their Longshots and don't need the capability of 6 rounds.

Could you cite this Longshot modification other than an Angel breach (or something just like it) that uses the clips and gets the 70-90' ranges you claim?

I improved my ranges by 30' after singling, so maybe something was thrown from that one example.

Even if you think that removing the air restrictors gives the same amount of power as a singled Longshot, that still doesn't give you the right to bitch about other people modifying their own blasters. I don't like the Longshot clip system, so I will single EVERY SINGLE Longshot I own until I try an Angel Breech.

I'm getting a longshot and singling it. Yes it's in working condition, however I'm doing it for the pure purpose of making it singled. Yeah, it's not broken, but I'm gonna 'fix' it. That's part of what makes this a good hobby. We can do what we want with these and others shouldn't get mad if we do something that doesn't directly effect them.

Single it, or don't. Arguing on the internet is like running in the special Olympics. Even if you win, you're still retarded.

My personal experience, Keep the clips. But make sure you have a lightish spring in there to make it easy to cock. When you are rushing (as you should do with the clipped LS) you are gonna be close, and being able to shoot farther is kinda negated when you are sticking the barrel within 20 feet of a target. Or Angel breach it. Them be killer.

If you are singling it, then have fun. Don't do it unless you are salvaging your gun.

You want ranges like that, build a SNAP. Also, for wars, it has been my experience that you are mostly taking shots at ranges you KNOW you can hit. it doesn't matter if a gun can shoot 200 feet. Take your total range, and divide that by 2. Thats about your normal range you will be taking shots at, because you can place them accurately that way.

hope that helps, and 2king a singled LS would be retarded. You get the better ranges by the longer barrel, something hard to do with 2k turrets. Dont do it. Keep it clipped and get another ranged gun.

Having one as my primary, I find that singled longshot's work well at there full shooting distance, mine being in the mid 90's. And with an integrated DTB, I found a way to use different clips (the DTB is clip modded).

Psssst Coop, they sell brass online, did you know that?

Plus, the way people make their CPVC 'breech' is just retarded at the moment. You have to stuff the dart into the barrel, and reaching into the hole to put the dart in (even with the rail cut off) is a pain in the ass, especially compared to the more advanced breeches which have a half-pipe for you to simply place the dart in. The only time saved is priming the blaster, since the LS bolt opens the breech and primes the plunger at the same time.

To add to your headaches, there's no way to do speedloaders on a singled LS unless you make it a carbine, whereas you can make shotgun 'shells' for large air guns, and speedloaders for any singled guns with some sort of coupler. Heck, most singled pistols can vacuum-load. In that sense my Disk Shot shoots faster than any singled CPVC Longshot.

Anyways, enjoy being outranged by every cheap 4B, Titan, and cheap LBB.


Also, ice, I find it absolutely ironic that you're using DTB with cylinder clips on a singled Longshot.

Most spring guns are. But the longshot is more accurate then most air guns.
