I probably wouldn't be able to make the 21/22 weekend but that's no biggie.

well...there's still a chance i could nerf that weekend. i need to find out what day(s) i fence. it 28/29 is better for everyone else, go for it, and i'll try to make it. you're damn right about those extracurricular activites, i should just quit everything and become a professional nerfer.Hmm, the lone dissenter. What about it guys, who would NOT be able to come if it were the 21 or 22nd? I'd like you to be able to come Ray seeing as how you missed the last one and all.
Ray, you just need to quit all of your extracurricular activities and cease all functions from which you derive enjoyment and fulfillment. It's making my scheduling difficult, ok?

Check on those dates for us and we'll see what we can do. I'm thinking the 28/29 weekend would be best at this point.

i might come down for the afternoon wars and have dinner with whoever can hang around.
though i have a feeling i'll be outgunned weilding pistols, i can make up for it in ass-tight pants.

You're ass-tight pants will never rival my asshole shorts.
Ok so lets assume that we're doing this on either Sat Feb 28th or Sun Feb 29th. Which day is better people? I personally vote for Saturday since it's nice to have a day to recuperate. Anybody have unavoidable plans on Sunday?

Bonelli Park is right where those three counties meet.
It's also 5 minutes from my house but that's purely coincidental...

OK, this isn't a great picture since I drove over there after work and it was almost dark and I didn't get over to the bigger side of the lake but it's something.Any chance we can get some pics of Bonelli park Cx?
I'll try to get some closeups of actual areas tomorrow.
Basically the whole area around the lake is like this. Sparse trees with occasional clumps of them and a few bushes. On the other side of the lake from where I'm standing there are lots of little camp/picnic areas and half a dozen restrooms scattered along the length of the shore.
So as far as terrain goes, we have small rolling hills and larger slopes, grass and dirt, picnic tables and bbqs, various sizes of tree, some brush, and maybe a smallish building.
What do you guys think? We could always ignore the (lying) fucker at the school and go back there...

Cxwq: Place looks nice but I do worry a lot about losing, like, ALL the darts in the brush and the lake and stuff. Still I'm sure there are better areas within the park to play. How crowded is this place? The one nice thing about Venado is that we were (usually) never bothered.
I mean yea I'm sure the guy there was like 87% bullshit, but that location was getting pretty stale anyway, ya know?

I'm giving up my lunch break today to go take more pictures, you guys can decide whether you like the place after I post those. If not, there are tons more parks around and I'm still working on landing a new urban area that's on private land and pre-approved by the owner.
87% bullshit? You mean the part about the dozens of fires being set, the part about the trucks jumping off the little hill and racing between the portables, or the part about people stealing tables? I would have bought maybe half of what he said but he went so far over the top that it was rediculous.
** Edit: Is this enough info for ya? Bam! **

I worry though about crowds and getting kicked out of the park by the rangers, we wouldn't have anywhere else to go.
I also wish there was more cover, but you can't have everything.
