This isn't that place we played with the trailers on the hill is it? I can't really remember much about it because it was a long time ago, but I remember we ended up going to another school cause we didn't like it.

No one likes Sundays? Because I love Sundays, they just work infinitely better for me.

But as for what weekend works best for me, I wouldn't know until class starts.

Is it a problem for people if a Sunday date was chosen? What Sunday might be best?

I'd really appreciate it if we did this war on a Sunday. My attendance for Saturday is very, very low.

Talio already said Sundays aren't a problem for him, generally.

Sundays are tight for me as well. I'd much prefer Saturday. Also, if I don't go it might make it slightly less likely that Talio attends since we're carpooling up there. I can't speak for him though.

Yeah, generally I would like Splitlip to make it so we can split (no pun intended) the price of gas. My schedule wise though it makes no difference what day it is, just what weekend.

Saturdays are the only days that will work for me, and will also allow for more participants, so we're keeping it Saturday. Sorry, Cranks - I still love you, but I just can't do Sundays. The date remains the same.

I updated the roster - only 9 definite people? Come on, we can do better than that. Steel City Nerf - jwasko, karpenter93, BoOogers? Langley? Lionhead? Badger? Sound off, dammit.

At this moment in time I won't be coming, for a couple of reasons.

First of all I'm having knee surgery tomorrow. I might be fully recovered by the time the war comes along but I'm not pushing myself.

Also, I found out about two weeks ago that my girlfriend is pregnant. No joke. So I guess I'll be having a kid at the age of 20. Which means money is going to be a little tight for a while.

But there still is a possibility that I can come. I will have to see what my doctor and my girlfriend says about it. I'll keep my status updated.

Oh fuck life.

Update: I will be able to make it on Saturdays, so the selected date works for me. However, I won't have access to a car, so I will need someone to pick me up. (From my place near DC, not Pennsylvania) But...I don't think that will be a major problem.

As the war gets closer, if anyone wants to buy any of mine or THIRST's spare guns, there will be a thread for it soon. I'll be happy to drop them at the war rather than shipping them.

Um, I can bring the peices...
It self destructed sort of.
I put a BBB spring in it right before APOC, and I used it so much that the tube that held the spring cracked cause the cpvc was so tight against it when it took repetitive hits for the BBB spring. I use my crossbow as my primary now that I finally figured out how to aim flat with it. Sorry. I really have no reason to lie, cause my longshot was more accurate.

PM or talk to OMC, he's the one making the trek down from Jersey.

Likewise, Bendystraw - if you want to, you can take a bus or train to Richmond (I'm close to the station), and you can crash at my place the night before the war and do the same for the evening after the war. I have a couch you can crash on and I don't mind driving you.

Glad to see that our "icy" peoples can attend. Updated the original post. Our numbers are looking good, but 16 is my ideal number, attendance-wise. Still waiting to hear back from a few people, though.

Just so you know, more Nerfers =/= Better War

DCNO is ALWAYS a blast and we make sure to cram in as many rounds as possible until we're all exhausted.

No matter how many people show up, I can guarantee you that it will still be an awesome war. In the past there's been a DCNO with 4 people, and also a DCNO with over 30 people. Like Slug said, more people doesn't always equal a better war, especially when you take into account the venue accommodations.

DCNO has alot of appeal, and it draws in people from several surrounding states. You get a wide variety of skill levels and personal styles in modding and gameplay at each war. I can say with confidence that no two DCNO's are ever really alike. If numbers are more your thing and you'd rather go to a war with tons of people, between 25-50 people, then I'd suggest saving up for Armageddon or Apoc - especially if you're coming from Maine...but still, it's your call.

The man speaks the truth. The novelty of Effeminateley huge wars wears off pretty quickly. Maine is pretty far though. Why don't you check out the nerfer locator and see if you can get something going in the Northeast? I'd be willing to go as far north as Boston if it were only once in a while and I knew you had a good thing going up there.
