Last DCNO was by far the most fun and successful one to date, with attendees ranging from Illinois to New Jersey (just to name a few). I'm looking to do the same if not better this time around, so let's start talking dates. I have listed on the 2008 Nerf War Schedule for Sept. 13th, but that date is tentative. We're doing Saturdays, just like we've always done in the past. I want to garner a large attendance, we had 20+ last time and it was awesome. So, without any further ado, here are the dates I'm considering. Say what dates would work best for you and we'll go from there.

Rules:
+Eye protection is MANDATORY. No eye protection = no play. I really can't stress this enough.
+Dress appropriately for the weather. No trench coats or camouflage. Be smart about this.
+Bring enough darts to last you the whole day. We will be making dart sweeps between rounds.
+If you're opposed to a bag lunch and have a car, feel free to drive and get lunch elsewhere.
+Bring PLENTY of drinks and sunscreen, as the heat can (and probably will be) brutal at times.
+Homemades will be permitted on a case-by-case basis. Leave your PVC Howitzer at home, please.
+Banned blasters: Brassed SM5K's, singled Titans. I reserve the right to ban things I feel are too powerful.

The 27th looks like it would be best for me, but that's only depending on my school schedule. I could probably make any of them, but I have an exam on the 15th that I'll fail if I'm coming back from DCNO the weekend before. I'd have to figure out new travel arrangements too this time, so I'll work it out whatever weekend it ends up being.

I am definitely considering the trip again, as I love this field and you guys are a great group of nerfers to play with.

The 20th is definitely out for me. I would vote for the 27th, as it is later and will give me more time to prepare, and plus my classes start the middle of that week so it won't be busy. The first weekend posted I will most likely be doing moving stuff to get ready for classes.

I'm only going to be able to make the 20th, but I won't be sure I can go until the Friday of(yay, college).
I hope it works out, as I haven't been to a DCNO at this new field.

So don't use me to choose unless it's deadlocked.

27th is fine too.

I'm willing to provide crash space for the people I like.
And like last time I will be bringing a cooler full of Gatorade and some cups.

Probably a no-go for me. I'm already attending a star party (a different type of congregation of nerds, but with telescopes instead of Nerf guns) on the 6th and have football games to march in every Friday. There's a small chance I can make it but it's very doubtful.

I am about 80% sure I can go. I just need to check available funds and make sure I have enough for the plane ticket. I can make any date that Slug can, since I will most likely be staying at his place.

I am a maybe as of Now. If I go which is about a 35% chance I will fly to Rockville MD with my dad on a business trip on FRI
then go to the war on Sat. Then fly back with my dad on Sun. Its pretty cheap to fly from Maine to MD. Only 175 bucks round trip. As of now all of the dates look good, but I am going to need a definite date before I book my flight. Sounds fun.

I might come, but I'll be in southern Virginia in September, so driving up would be a little expensive for me. However, if I am in town during the day you all decide upon, I'll try to show up.
