This was a great war. A lot of people, great guns, new players.

Pros
Meeting Carbon and shooting him a lot
Having a great time
Being called the war caterer (I brought food and 5 gallons of water which only half of was drank)
Finally being called a vet
Getting new people into nerfing
Being optimistic
Light showers(not having heavy rain)
Owning while in the tower but little ones came and we had to leave
Not having that annoying little kid there that came with messiah last war
Finding out how good an arrowstorm is with brass/petg barrels
Being too lazy to take of the flagging tape on my arm
More that I can't think of at the moment



Cons
Not a large variety of guns
Getting shot in the ribs by Ryan's +bow and I still have the welt
Shot twice really close by big blasts
Not always having good darts and having them fall to the ground 30 feet away
My at2k breaking
Hope there aren't some I am missing

AWESOME WAR. My feet hurt, I am tired, my longshot it pretty much trashed, my double nitefinder is officially retarded, but it was still a great war. I have been converted to big blasts. I will never go back.

Pros
-Meeting Carbon. Probably one of the more fun nerfers I will meet.
-Meeting Sam, again, really fun to nerf with
-Meeting Ryan. Another fun person to nerf with. You and that +bow are a force to be reckoned with
-Big Blasting Carbon during the VIP round. When Carbon got entirely out, that was all me.
-Nitefinders working well
-Megas being used by me and not dropping or wavering in the wind. I have found my new primary ammo.
-Hilt and his crazy crew being... well... crazy.
-Nerf Crazy's friends being there.
-NOT GETTING SHOT BY GOOSE ISLAND IN THE FACE
-Not getting shot in the face PERIOD
-Bullet Dragons longshot being actually really good. Props to that.

Cons
-Stuff breaking
-Losing nearly all of my Megas after they flew past people and went into the woods
-That damn +bow giving me a few welts that still sting.

All in all, great weather, great war, great company, lets do it again sometime guys.

Man I am tired, that war was pure awesomeness. I will probably add more things to these little later.

Ups
-Allowing Bustaninja to have a much better experience by selling him a big blast.
-Completely owning, with my big blast, especially in the earlier rounds.
-Getting a great stock AT2k for $8
-My Big Blast passing my expectations greatly
-Receiving much praise and complements, about my Big Blast. As well as striking fear in many of the newer people, and even maybe some vets.
-Meeting Carbon
-Seeing Plusbows, and having my Big Blast actually be formidable compared to one, probably not better though.
-Only having one actually painful hit.
-Being crowned a vet, and getting to be on the vet team in vets vs noobs.
-My Big Blast not breaking the whole war
-My Big blast being incredibly versatile, by being able to barrel multiple people's darts.
-Ryan telling me that he makes +bows for around $35+time.
-Not having Messiahs stupid little step-brother
-No face shots on me!
Downs
-Getting shot in the head by a powerful gun.
-The vets probably not allowing Big Blasts, or at least pump plugged ones from now on.
-Carrtoon kept targeting me with his beastly pumpshot gun, probably as payback for my Big Blast spree.
-Hitting sam in the face from pretty close with my Big Blast, when I was aiming for his body.
-The tower rounds constantly being interfered with by little kids

In a comparison of getting shot by a big blast and getting shot by a +bow at the same range, I would say that +bows hurt more. And I am serious. Ban Big Blasts and then you have to ban +bows.

Plus, +bows are more accurate... so... do as you will I guess.

Also, calling us nerds? Who were spent 120 on a nerf gun? Im kidding, its all in good fun and all about the game right?

I also think I got some pretty good pictures of you shooting that beastly +bow of yours Sam, and I know I got some of Ryan.

Well I have to disagree. I say plugged pump Big Blasts are banned. One of the main reasons I was owning was because I had the pump plugged, which adds an incredible amount of power. I mean +bows shoot 130 feet, unplugged pump big blasts shoot shorter than that. I know that you guys discussed how they shoot much harder and faster, but still without the pump plugged it is more reasonable.

Yeah, I'm really sorry. I thought maybe you would have figured it out, since I had probably the most powerful gun at the war. But you probably didn't notice I was standing in the direction of where the dart came from, because it hurt so bad.

I'll leave it up to you and all the other older vets to figure out big blasts. But since I now am a vet, I should have some say in the matter.

again, if big blasts are gonna be banned then +bows should be too. After those hits I am really feeling the pain.

That was SOOO much fun today! I'm SOOO showing again with my friends again at the next nearest one. I heard a rumor that CS himself showed from that girl (her name is Jen) that was with us, can anyone confirm?

On a side note, I lost a small philips head screwdriver. It has black electrical tape on it near the handle. Please tell me if you found it.

Pros:
Getting a lot of good shots in with ALL my guns, especially my LS and Magstrike.
Having Ryan lend me his hot-glue gun to plug the pump on my MS. *bows down to his generosity*
Getting to actually use a Maxxshot (used it in the tower round)
Getting a really cool shot off at Busta Ninja with the Maxxshot I was borrowing (also in the tower round)
Discovering that my Maverick was actually really good (and it'll be better next time ^^)
Finding out that some people were super impressed by my LS (Busta Ninja especially ~.^)
Getting to meet all the famous modders on the site (Ryan, Carrtoon, etc.)
Getting to fire a +bow and Carrtoon's x-bow.

Cons:
Getting shot in the face A LOT by BB's and +bows... that hurt a lot...
Tripping/slipping and falling A LOT because the grass was slippery
Losing a lot of my Streamline darts because my LS is so powerful
Discovering that my guns don't like stefans much
Discovering that almost ALL my guns need to be breeched/rebarreled
Having to fend off hords of little kids that tried to steal our guns (you can thank me later for threatening them so their mom came over)
Not being able to find the place for like a half hour
Humiliating myself as I tried to cock Carrtoon's x-bow for the first time...
Getting throwing up sick from lunch (that's why I disappeared for like two hours)
Having to buy gas for my ride (he's between jobs)
Losing a small philips head screwdriver

I think that's it. Please for the love of GOD, if anyone at all found my small screwdriver, please please please tell me!

Wait, she said Captainslug came to this war? She must be crazy. I don't see why he would have come all the way from DC to nerf with us So, no, he did not. The only things that might have made you/her think that is Sam's CS style darts and Sam and Ryan's +bows.

The +bow remains supreme. It won't be banned. I'm sorry. A Big Blast shoots 200 feet easy. A +bow shoots about 130-140. If we ban +bows then you have to get rid of AT2K's, SS2's and those types of guns because they pretty much shoot the same distance. And don't say that it hurt more to get shot with a +bow over a Big Blast at the same range. Just ask Carbon and sam who where both shot in the face today. As sam said, the High Court (vets) have determined to outlaw Big Blasts. Maybe not entirely but we won't be allowing fully modified BB's.

I'm disappointed that we didn't get to do many tower rounds, but with the amount of people we had the tower didn't seem as much fun as it did last year.

This war was better than I thought because I just woke up about 10 min ago from being passed out from exhaustion. I went and laid down on my couch and next thing I know I woke up because my birds were screaming(yes I have birds 2, very large birds).

I agree, no pump plugged Big Blasts. I did some tests after the war. I pumped my Big Blast 6 times and 12 times to compare. Pumping it more seemed to make it shoot much harder but only about 10 feet farther. So yeah I say no pump plugging, I think that's the rule on the coasts too. And some say it's impossible to tell whether the pump is plugged, it's actually very easy and takes about 10 seconds or less.

I vote no pump pluggging because I got a welt and it broke the skin on my arm. But dude no hard feelings about that. I didn't mention this earlier but in the van on the way home goose island fell asleep and elliot and his friend and I shot him in the head multiple times with one of those fly guns.

Excellent war!

Pros:
-Getting to put faces to the names. Great meeting all you guys, and getting to shoot you. Excellent turnout.
-The SNAP-4 exceeding my expectations for damn near everything, even if the plunger seal shredded later in the day. If you guys hated it today, you're really going to hate what I'm going to build next...which leads in to...
-Sitting at Famous Dave's for three hours with Ryan and Carrtoon, and discussing homemade design. Yeah, it's not directly war related, but you'll see the results eventually.
-Getting to play a good variety of games. VIP was pretty cool.
-Flaming Hilt's Charge and Slide style, by far one of the most stylish attacks seen today. That, and it was quite effective.
-CHOCOLATE CUPCAKES!
-Sporadic light rain keeping it cool. Fantastic weather.

Cons:
-The SNAP-6 being a bit too heavy and a bit too difficult to use. Sort of expected, but it worked well during the VIP round in a defensive capacity. And anyway, it looks cool.
-Getting shot in the face (specifically my upper lip) by Carrtoon with a Big Blast at about 60 feet. I'm amazed that it didn't break the skin, mainly just bruised the inside of my lip. Saying "Big Blast" is a bit uncomfortable right now.
-Goddamn little kids with sticky fingers deciding that they could use my guns. "My mom gave me permission!"
-Taking out three people in quick succession during CTF, turning around to signal backup to press forward..and seeing no one there.

I'll probably think of more later, but right now I ache.

After the war I was talking with my parentals and it came up, but where do you hail from? You have no listing in your info (or maybe Im just blind) but how far did you have to travel?

Wow. It's been but 17 hours since the war ended and we're already at one and a half pages.

Which means I have to clear some things up.
1. "The guy with the tube on his arm" was Matt. He was part of my crew.
2. At the moment, at any wars I host, Big Blasts will be banned entirely. I suppose it's inevitable to get into why...: A) I have 13 welts, B ) I told everyone using them to pump no more than 7 times, and nobody listened, C), you guys need to learn more than "stand behind tree and take potshots all game."
If this goes through, the reason +bows won't be banned is because Ryan and Sam used them responsibly. They never (in my knowledge) took shots less than 35 feet, and they never aimed for the face. On the other hand I got hit in the face thrice and in the neck once with Big Blasts.

Plus, Big Blasts are ridiculously easy to mod, and Ryan and Sam put precious time and money into their +bows.

Back on topic. A "recap."
First off, apologies to anyone I scored painful hits on. At the moment I can only recall hitting Ryan in the back of the neck, but I'm sure there were more.


Pros:
- Owning once again with my pistols (though perhaps not quite as much as last time).
- Getting owned with +bows and numerous other creations.
- Proving that experience does matter in the lopsided Vets vs. rounds.
- The weather. Only, a tiny bit more rain would have been nice, to keep the playground open.
- I'm going to quote Carbon on this one: "Getting to put faces to the names. Great meeting all you guys, and getting to shoot you. Excellent turnout."

Cons:
- Missing Cupcakes.
WHEN WERE THERE CUPCAKES.
- Missing Famous Dave's, which leads into...
- Having to leave early. Nate had plenty to do, and myself as well.
- Nobody doubting my ability to climb up the slide, and thus having them sit at the top waiting for me.
- My new gun not working to my expectations. *...goes to give it a bigger air tank.*

I'm sure there's more, but I am also sore, and have a lot to do before partying it up tonight.
There is one more pro, actually, and that is having my pictures turn out. They aren't perfect, because I forgot to put my camera in sports mode (lower shutter speed, more aperture), but they are still pretty good. Here are some of my favorites:

On the coasts the rule is usually no pump plugging as I said, which is very reasonable. I never heard you say anything about limiting pumps either. 7 is about how many a non pump plugged big blast holds anyway. I mean look at bustaninja. I didn't plug the pump on his, and I don't think he really caused any injuries with it. But mine, Zudikas' and maybe Carrtoon's did have the pumps plugged, and did cause some injuries. If you don't want to check all the big blasts for pump plugging at the next war, I will. I see no problem with non pump plugged big blasts, and neither does NerfCrazy and Bustaninja. I never aimed for the head either. The reason I hit most people in the head was due to an underestimated shot. I rest my case.

Some more highlights.
-Carbon yelling "hit" after each shot
-Carbon getting spawned killed beacause of his bad spawning area
-Zudikas arriving and me shooting a extremly fast dart just by him
-Ryan getting hit and firing back his +bow in anger
-Zudikas nailing that annoying titan kid
-Meeting Elf
-Matt with his crazy arm cannon
-Lots of crotch shots

Not to mention I now only have the welts from +bows anyhow (well, Ryans +bow. Truely is an amazing shot with that thing) and all my big blast welts are gone accept the ones from Zudikas and Venom who have pumps plugged. I also talked to my friend who I shot with my big blast on bare skin during the VIP, and he has no welts or anything, and that was a shot taken from 60 feet. So, on the subject of Big Blasts, no pump plugged, and the OP kicks in on mine after 6 pumps, so it only holds 6 pumps.

Also, Ryan, this is a question for you. I am interested in a +bow, but I rather enjoy building things. Is there a way I could pay you, say, 50-60 for the parts plus shipping? Or something along those lines? I just dont want it build for me is the thing, and I know thats what makes the price so high, is all the time you have to spend to build it.
