Well I needed to make some money for my warped tour ticket this summer so I decided to start selling things on ebay. I immediatley turned to my nerf guns. I went up to my room grabbed my maverick and got to work.

The Gun-







I gave the gun a basic black paintjob, excluding the moving parts. The Large barrel on the front is the plunger tube from a broken BBB wrapped in e-tape. The fun little scope on the sliding handle is made from the plunger tube of a doubleshot. Lastly, the little handle on the front of the gun was cut off of a laser tag blaster that I had lying around my basement.

The gun itself recieved basic mods such as the roulette mod, and slight spring stretching.

I just thought I'd post this up here because I really like it and I wanted to see what you guys think of it. I will most likely not be selling this on ebay anymore since I like to much (but we'll see).

No offense, its not really anything special. Also barrel extensions on the maverick are useless.

As a matter of fact, if I put it up on ebay I'm gonna title it that . But about the barrel extension thing, I know it's useless, It's all just for cosmetics. Plus I think it kind of looks like that grenade launcher that they used on "Future Weapons">

Looks good, I like the little scope on the top makes it look better. But what is the point of the of the front handle?

My friend did this exact same thing on his and it looks cool. Hope your sale goes well if you put it on ebay.

Your so lucky! My parents were bidding on two Vans Warped Tour tickets at my school auction, but they wouldn't go over $300.

Anyway it looks really nice, but you'll have some competition with all the custom iron man mavericks with straw mods. I think it's funny, half the people that bid on mavericks bid on them because they have straw mods, not because they think it's a good mod, but because the seller puts 50 exclamation marks after it.

Thanks for all the good comments guys, but I have no idea what you're talking about with this $300 ticket thing. I'm buying 3 tickets off of the warped tour website for only $31 a piece.

Oh and by the way, here's a link to the grenade launcher I KIND OF thought my maverick looked like.

That grenade launcher is huge... Your maverick is a revolver. The best bet I could see of making that launcher is using a ballzooka and a lot of hard work.

Thanks you just made me feel old as hell. Unless the tickets were for you. Then thats cool they were willing to drop that cash on ya. (but seriously why would they drop 300 for warp tour tickets? Tool hell yes. Warp tour... meh..)
But yeah. most the guns on Ebay are a joke. Such as the Longspider and that dudes recons, and the guy that scams people into paying 50 bucks for a Mav with basic mods and then in the fine print the nifty (pos) paintjobs that got you to look at his auction turn out to be an extra 30 bucks. Shadey bastards taking advantage of stupid people on the ebay.

But yeah dude don't sell this on ebay unless you clean it up. Get rid of that Etape and paint it properly.
As for the mods.. Ehh. Made a already semi bulky gun even more so and did nothing to help accuracy or range. should have just tossed the pic up in the mod/paint thread.
