Its rock solid, no bending at all. Yes, the plunger head is attached with a screw, I drilled a hole in the plunger rod for it to go through. For the tee, I filed down the corners on the rod, hammered CPVC onto it, glued it there, then glued the tee to the CPVC, all using CA glue.
Edit: the video is a little dark, I know. and you can't see the fence or the dart. the purpose of the vid is not ranges, it is mostly just so Norther can hear what it sounds like.
