I am considering hosting a war somewhere in Ann Arbor some time this summer. I want to do an initial roll call to see if we even had enough people to do it. I have no idea of a date. I have almost the whole summer open except for a 2 weeks toward the end. So if you live in Michigan and could get to Ann Arbor you could post the # of people you could bring and what date would be good for you, if possible post a date someone else already has so we are closer to a consensus.

Here is a possible location i tried to update the photo with my 1337 paint skills as best I could. There are some places to got food right up the road and it has good varied terrain. Also it is most often deserted so other people wont be a problem.

I'm from the Bay area and would like to attend a war sometime. That being said, my Job is only a summer thing so I'd probably be out. I can pread the word around here though to see if anyone is interested.

U of M... how much closer can I get? Depending on summer classes and work, I should be fine for almost anytime. If I can get some Westerners to come, I'd say 3 to 6 people.

I would probably come alone, or with only one friend. Any date should be fine, my summer is open except for a few camps here and there.

Is this still happening? I have just been verified today, but I've been following this thread for a while. If Poo is no longer active, I would be happy to host a war here in Ann Arbor. As alternate locations, I'd like to suggest Eberwhite park, which features woods, fields, and the most badass playground of all time, and the Arboritum, which has huge fields, as well as extensively varied woods.
Following are a couple pictures of parts of the larger of the Eberwhite castle playgrounds (there are two, one of which is fucking huge), neither of which do it justice. I will update with better pictures as they become available.

Damn, I'm going to be out of town for the fourth... as I'm sure many others will be. Perhaps the 12th would be a better choice?

If someone in Ann Arbor sets up for the 5th, I can come and bring 5 other experienced nerfers with good guns. As long as 3 or 4 guys are willing to be there, we'll show up. The 5th is our best workable date in the near future. The 12th is a no-go.

If there's a Nerf war on the 5th, I probably could make it with one or two friends. I know of no good spots to Nerf around there so I can't set anything up myself.

Oakland county. I think most Ann Arbor people don't frequent the forums as much, so it might be taking them a while to see your post?
