Hey guys,

Ive been around Nerfhaven for about a year or so and I find the stories of various Nerf wars very intriguing. As I come to my last year of undergrad in college, I was thinking of trying to host my first nerf war in Lynchburg, VA. Id like to know how many nerfers there are in VA but I wanted to open it up to nerfers in the nearby states too (MD, DC, NC, SC, and maybe PA if anyone interested could make it from down there). I am looking at my fall schedule and also at the 08 war schedule and I might be able to try for one in October or November. It would take place at a park in Lynchburg as the school has rules on weapons (including nerf blasters...stupid I know), but I wanted to see what kind of interest there would be in this before going full bore with it.

There is one building on campus that I might be able to get permission for an indoor war though. It has a lot of hallways and some very interesting spots for close quarters combat.

Ok After looking at the calendar (and the football schedule as Im in the marching band at Liberty) I am looking at either November 1 or November 8. I'll keep everybody posted on the details as I work them out.

Alright, looks like the interest is there...Im tentatively scheduling the first LUNO (Liberty University Nerf Off) for November 1. I'll be spending the summer hashing out rules and location out but right now Im lookign at doing CTF, Slayer, Team Slayer at least. I'll probably start an official topic before the middle of June and have it entered in the 08 War Schedule once I get location ironed out.
