Yeah, I go through KY like it's going out of style. I love the warming...oh wait...you mean Kentucky. Nevermind.

Sorry, I'm dense at times - I missed your previous post. Sounds like a plan.I will see Squishy in-person this Saturday.
imaseoulman, the more the merrier.
Longshot Welder, the only person I can think of that will be coming from that direction is Nerf Monkey. And even so, I'm not sure if he's passing through Kentucky.

P.S. ~ Tyler, I'd really like to see you make it down here, but if you are booked don't sweat it. I'll be seeing you at the LCM Summer Tune-Up war the following weekend.

It's kind of hard to illustrate the location in just words, but I'll try. There's a field in front of the buildings pictured, which wraps around to the right of the portables and leads to a small basketball court. There is also a wooden staircase on this right side as well, which connects to the main wooden walkway down the middle of the portables. You can either:Looks pretty sweet. I just google earthed it and it looks like it is mostly close quarters combat. For those of you that are familiar with the field, do most battles occur in close (within 50') range? Do you have to walk around the buildings to get from one side to the other or do the wooden pathways/ramps connect? Or are there other walkways? Thanks.
+Run in front of the buildings in the field (long to mid-range)
+Run through the center wooden walkways (close to mid-range)
+Run around back behind the buildings (extreme close range)
Depending on how you play and what weapon setup you're using, you can do a number of things. That's why I love this field.

Also, if anyone is interested, I think this is a birds eye view of "The Labyrinth".
Thanks Groove

The area in red = "The Labyrinth"
The area in yellow = playable area
The area in blue = staging area
Parking on Luckett St. is probably best as you can just mosey on down the hill to the staging area. There's also a parking lot to the left of the field as well, so either way you'll have good parking and little walking distance.

The staging area is the brownish area with picnic tables just south of there.

Things I need to know:
1) Where should I fly into? Stay?
2) Is it possible someone could pick me up from the airport/return me to my hotel?
3) Ship my guns to someone's house so I don't have to deal with the airlines?
Looks like a lot of fun. It would be cool to meet all you guys out on the East Coast as well.

1. Dulles Intl, is going to invariably be the cheapest option.I am interested in coming, all the way from Chicago.

2. Most hotels near Dulles Intl offer a shuttle service to/from the airport (just call them and ask). Cheapest ones being nears Dulles Intl ($60-$85 a night).
If you want to crash in my basement I live only a 15 minute taxi ride away from the airport. You can hitch a ride to-from the war then fly back Saturday night or Sunday morning.
3. PM me for address if you don't still have it.
