no no, I was merely pointing out we won't really have to work hard to put down any resistance on our own soil. And yeah, I guess I could cop that little factor up to the "powers that be", But who are we to turn aside the favor of the nerf gods. I guess all those years of Bags sacrificing plushies on a foam altar will finally come to fruition.

Cannonball, I think you are seriously overestimating your coast's abilities. For christ's sake, RAMBO went to Armageddon last year and you (collective you) couldn't take him out. Our worst players can at least do that. Not to mention, I am the fattest and slowest on the East Coast, yet I managed to make it to the end of damn near ALL the rounds last year.

In any case, overestimating my coast's ability or other wise, I think we've all lost touch with the true meaning of trash talk. Who cares if you're right or wrong, IT'S "TRASH" TALK! shoot, I was under the impression it was all in good fun anyway.

Okay, gents.

War's tomorrow.

Quick little reminder for everyone:

Eye protection. Wear it or leave. If you forget, don't freak out; we have spares.

NO HOMEMADES. Slug is an exception to the rule. If you think that's not fair, leave.

No singled Titans, or SM5k's. If you think that's not fair, leave.

Make sure there is no exposed metal on the tips of your darts. If you can see the weight(s) through your hot glue, that's fine, but if you can see the weight(s) because they're not completely covered, leave the dart at home or fix it beforehand.

We've seen people implementing some H2H weaponry amongst standard war arsenal bits in the past few years. This is acceptable, provided that ALL striking surfaces are well covered with foam. If someone hits someone with a sword or something that for some reason doesn't feel cushy, we will have problems. It may be an accident, but check your equipment beforehand.

That being said, H2H weapons count as shields. Shoot a sword/block with a sword, and it counts as a block. That goes for toy Hulk hands, foam pool axes, etc. as well. No one is allowed to go strictly H2H, though. Feel free to duel during lunch if you feel the need, but you MUST have a Nerf GUN on you of some kind during all rounds unless we get "creative" near the end with some sort of scenario game. But I doubt that's going to happen. Expect to need a gun on your hands at all times.

Be a gentleman about getting hit. No one likes a whiny bitch, and no one likes a cheater. Call the hits you get. If no one calls it, but you saw it hit you, take it. Tomorrow will be FUN, so calm down and take your hits like a man.

We'll discuss rules and such for the various rounds we'll be playing throughout the day at the location the morning of.

When you arrive at the location, you'll have two options for parking. There is a main parking lot (huge), and then there is a secondary, smaller lot on the southern side of the school. We will be meeting in the secondary lot at ~10:00 am. Please be prompt. Social time/meet and greet will eat up a bit of the time, so there is a bit of a time cushion for stragglers, but we still want to get the ball rolling as soon as we can.

I'm looking forward to seeing everybody again/meeting some new faces. Get some sleep, and we'll see you in the morning!
