What should my first homemade be? I am new as a member but have been watching for a while and was curious. If possible I would like for it to be simple, straight foreward and not requiring welding or soidering since I don't have the tools required for such things.

I make homemades that are very strait forward and useful, though not everyone thinks so. Search new homemade avenger. It's my best so far, and simple. As I said, not everyone likes them. but they make for great first homemades.

I'll suggest a SNAP, they get decent ranges and are fairly easy to make.

Also, spend some time going though the homemade directory. A big part of building homemades is making it work with the parts that you have available...seeing what else has been done will help you become familiar with different styles, and how others have approached problems.

Bad idea. Using a soda bottle is questionable, but weakening the bottle by attaching the airfeed through the side is asking for trouble. Then there's the whole issue of using Gorilla Glue rather than actual PVC cement.try this high powerd nerf rifle
Check out the homemades page for a standard (and safe) ballvalve airgun, if you want to go that route.
