So I'm showing up at 9 - 9 30 only because the two bitches I'm bringing are night owls and don't know how to wake up in the morning. Unfortunetly as I said before Josh, my number 1 bitch, will not be joining us, because he's a homo. On the other hand the other two are up in the air. I bought out all the nite finders that my local Target had today so I will have 6-8 of them NIB for sale depending on how many I mod. As you all know the OMC Balck Market will be open for business. The nite finders will be goin for 7-8 dollars whichever I decide. Let me know who wants one so i can search my local stores for more if I need to.

What's the matter? It's going to be cold. Oh no! Not cold. Last Reckoning was cold. We managed to have a great time last year for those that don't remember and the temperature was around the 32 degree mark. And now what's it going to be Sunday, 33 degrees I hear.

And so what if their's snow in the ground. Just more places for the LCM to hide the bodies. Or what's left of the LGLF after we're done.

I may also get more nite finders b4 the shindig, so please let me know who wants them. I will loan out all my stuff as usual, so you're welcome to take anything out for a test run. If anyone needs anything else, maybe I can get it in the next couple days.

I think we need to postpone Reckoning for at least a week. Here's why:

1. It will be over freezing, but that doesn't mean that people wet from snow won't get sick or worse.

2. The park may not be in the best condition, especially the bridge area, but you never know the creek may have flooded as well. I will make a overview of it tommorrow.

3. If anything happens to someone, it's my ass on a golden platter. Did I mention that my mom will get in trouble? While we don't have a permit, because we don't need one, I know that my mom and I are under a contact list for "the Nerfers." Anything that happens comes back to my house.

4. If someone gets hurt/sick do to the weather and snow, the park can not be held accountable since we are technically breaking the rules. I have been informed of this verbally and in writing from the Director of Parks and Recreation.

5. While no one has voiced this opinion yet, I know Twin #1 and Andy have agreed with me.

For the most part, I'm going to leave this up to the guys that have to travel all the way to get here. I do strongly encourage that we try and postpone the war to a later date.

Quickly:

1) We had Reckoning in worse conditions last year. This year there's snow on the ground. Last year was brutal and was also one of the best wars we've ever held. Not to mention, Twin A, Warlock, and you TIS had an amazing display of asswhuppitude last Reckoning I believe. Under worse cold conditions.

2) The bridges don't matter all that much, I don't even remember using them much at Apoc 2003.

3) The chances of anything happening are just as good now as any. Nothing has changed. If anything, maybe a handful of us will be more careful. Okay, that's wishful thinking, but still, there's always a good chance of us hurting ourselves. We're testosterone driven sexxxed up war machines, we're teenage guys for the most part.

4) Who cares about the park service? I doubt anyone's going to get frostbite at the war. At least if they don't show up in the buff (Mantis!).

5) They [Twin A and Warlock] told me they wouldn't be in attendance if it was brutal like today (12 degrees last time I checked). It will be 25 degrees warmer from what I've read thus far come Sunday.

I agree on leaving it up to the guys making the trip. We've got 3-4 inches on the ground. The war is Sunday. It'll be above freezing.

Evil, it doesn't matter how well TIS and I have done... it's the fact that there are people's health at stake. There's no reason to nerf in this kind of weather. But as we've been saying, it's up to the ladies who will be making a trek to MCP (ie. Horsemen, Hersh, LGLF and Talio).

I can't believe I'm hearing this. The Nerf community of the East Coast is afraid of a cold? Not the Horsemen, not the LGLF, not the LCM, but the cold. Dammit, I think I might have to start a clan called COLD now.

But anyway, besides that, chances are next weekend is better. From the looks of it, the high will be around 41 this Sunday with the chance of drizzle. Now that's something I could understand. I don't want a gay slushee either.
