[UPDATE]

Sorry i havent updated, i have a super bad cold and today i feel a little better so i got up and did the magazine paint job, by the way for aeveryone else, im in the process of doing the internals so its taking longer than i initially thought.

The Good Side of the Mag

and the merely ok side

Posted Image

I kept the inside of the magazine the original orange because its easier to see how much is left in the magazine and ALSO so it slides smoothly

I like it, but if you ask me, the orange seems too bright. It may just be the picture.
I look forward to the end of your project- I love replica blasters. Good luck on this.

If I were you, I wouldn't mess with the mods, or make stupid mistakes like misspelling their names. I mean, CAVV is really tough on that kind of thing

The paintjob is great! I would of tried digital camo though.

How are you going to extend the barrel and do the full stock? You could buy a cheap airsoft stock and epoxy it on.

Very nice. I am going to do this to the stock and pump handle of a pump shotgun, and do the digital camo to the main body after I finish my neon blue and green one.

What is the best way to go at removing a stump without any power tools? Thanks ahead of time!

You Know Digital Camo would be Neigh impossible to do by hand/with spray cans and masking...hence why it's called Digital Camo Right?

R3unbreakable, that looks really cool. It's a rare thing that I Enjoy a "camo" paint scheme. But this excites me.

No way...

I was planning to do this to my Recon.

I guess I'll just go with blue tiger.

Well, airsoft Full stocks have a large battery spot in it. You could try a crane stock too, but they're more expensive.

Baghead- Just use a huge template and cover up the squares that were already painted.

i would have but i didnt have blue spray paint, it would be extremely easy to do that camo skin, just prime it black, then put painters tape in random splotches ans spray a coat of lightish blue.

Anyway, my next additions are a faux panorama red dot sight im making out of a longshot scope lens and the mount the scope had.

this is what im shooting for:

Just for the record, that sight isn't "cheapo." It may be inexpensive, but it works wonders. I have it on my UTG shotgun and it works wonders. Its accurate out to about 100' and if you turn your gun slightly, the mirror compensates, so you don't have to orient yourself like with a scope or iron sights.

Side note: Shorty has several low priced scopes and fore grips, along with rails and flashlights and the like.

If you do do another paint job you can do digital really easy. If you go to HERE then you can get a print out of digital camo. Just when or if you do this try the following:
1. Sand down your gun with light grit sand paper
2. Spray your primer coat
3. lightly sand the primer coat
4. Spray your base coat (as close to the color you will spray over top)
5. Get your template and place it over the area you wish to spray
6. Spray a clear coat (normal or non-reflective)
There you go for the digital. The whole project looks good so far.

Well here I found a digi camo effect that probably could be done with spray paint.

Actually it hasn't even been four full days yet. Don't harass the guy, when he does something he wants to show us he will.

Oh, and nice paint job. Call of Duty is one of my favorite games currently. It'll be fun seeing what you come up with for the finished product.
