Oh I am definitely coming along with 2 others.
I know I've been there before, I just have absolutely no sense of direction and I didn't drive last time.
I got lost for 2 hours yesterday going to the mall with my girlfriend.

Ted this is the route I'm taking, If you can get a bus or something a little closer to that than Flemington I can pick you up.

My +bow is seriously fucked.
I was just testing it outside and I'm barely getting 80' thanks to a really shitty plunger head, rod and tube.
The plunger literally stops halfway down the tube because the head goes crooked making ranges very inconsistent.
I was kind of counting on Slug bringing replacements so I could get it working at 100% before the first round, seeing as he is not coming now, I'm going to be using an improvised primary. Unless I could somehow acquire these parts from someone else at the war.

This war is really turning into a clusterfuck.

It's a small war, you will not need any uber weapons. If you have a longshot it will be fine on a small team as long as somone has some range. You'll see, these smaller wars make team tactics much more important than weaponry.

I just got a confirmation from PHIL of all people. He will be there at some point with his nephews. This is shaping up nicely. Also, I am working out picking up Jlego as well.

Yeah, I'd definitely like to be in this war, however, I'm currently in CT. I can make it back to hoboken either tonight or tomorrow morning (early as needed). I do however need to hear something back from Hersh, hopefully I'll hear from him soon (i asked a bit late, because I'm dumb like that)

Now I'm just wishing my crossbow wasn't still broken from last war...

Alright, seeing as I'm running this thing there are two quick notes. 1, I will be deciding what weapons are playable or not and I do not prescribe to some retarded point blank shot test. BRING NERF GUNS!! Your home mades may not be allowed. Titans will not be allowed, you get the picture.

Also, I will not be selling darts and if anyone tries to keep any of my darts between rounds they can expect to be turned upside down and shaken like a mother fucker. BRING DARTS!! 11/2. Hersh hurt his ankle again...

It was fun, but I was kinda fooling around though.
I got a nutshot on Death, and tried to shoot Vacc and got Badger between the nose and lips. Skitzo got a amazing headshot on me.
I got a new BBB and 4k from OMC too, so I'm happy

Wow, I'm pretty fuckin exhausted. Great war everyone.

Turned out to be a really nice day, couldn't ask for better weather in March.

Having only ten 10 to 12 people there allowed for something rare and truly remarkable to happen, I got to know the other people I was nerfing with! Seriously, with most summer events having an attendance between 20 and 40 people it's like every Nerfer there is a face in the crowd. This was a really refreshing change from the norm. Being able to address someone by name instead of by the color of their shirt or some sort of ethnic slur really helps improve battlefield communication.

I'm not sure if we should keep Tindal open as an option going forward though. I can't say it's the worst venue I've ever played at but it's up there. I guess it's just hard to find a rhythm there; not enough cover to move around slowly but too many leaves, branches, and brush to be able to run safely.

Lunch at Jersey's Mikes was quite tasty and I enjoyed having my sandwich smothered in 'The Juice'.

I think everyone had at least one or two good hits on me throughout the day and once I got my dart/barrel situation figured out I was pretty happy with how I was playing.

OMC - My heart goes out to you man. It really fuckin sucked that the one guy who was really looking forward to this war gets hobbled in the first round. The fall itself was funny but in a way that erodes part of one's soul for laughing. Hopefully the next war will be somewhere with better footing and you can get a solid day's play in.

Hope to see everyone at the next NJ/East Coast event. We (as in the Tri-State Nerfing contingent sans-Rambo) should start discussing dates soon.

It took you all of 29 hours to cancel my war after the I said I might not make it. Forgive me for not checking a forum for one of my hobbies every hour of every day. If I recall correctly, I used to get bitched at for doing that - so it would appear that I cannot win.

Not that it's so much my business, but I'm pretty sure he/we moved it/canceled it for reasons more than that you might not show up. If you remember (from about 2 days ago mind you) that the weather was either supposed to be snow, or cold and heavy rain. It was also mentioned that the field was questionable, and attendees were dropping like flies into formaldehyde.

Overall a decent war, I was really looking forward to PA but this was fine.

Highlights:
-+bow not working and resurrecting my old primary
-Getting allot of clean shots
-Receiving 2 headshots in a row while running
-Watching Titan Kid fall backwards over a wire causing him to dodge a shot perfectly
-Head shot on Vacc
-Waiting a whole round to use my quick release Magstrike, then getting the perfect opportunity to use it, and not.
-Falling a few times, all into piles of leaves, twisting my limbs in the process
-Trying to dodge a shot from Tyler's +bow, smacking my temple on the Tic Tac Toe board, bending my glasses and still getting hit in the forehead.
-Never using my LNL
-Jersey Mike's "Juice"
-Getting lost and ending up in Paterson on the way home.
