Lilith is a mythological female Mesopotamian storm demon associated with wind and was thought to be a bearer of disease, illness, and death. In literature she lures men with her sexuality then kills them. She is more commonly known as the "Queen of the Succubi"

Lilith is also the name of my Crossbow

Mods:

Breech
The breech is constructed from 12” of 17/32 brass tubing glued inside of 12” of 9/16 brass tubing. The latter fits perfectly inside of 1/2” PVC and provides a perfect air seal. I machined the loading port and bolt trough with a router.

Posted Image
The bolt is made of … a bolt.

Reinforced Trigger and Plunger Rod:
I used Rawray’s trigger reinforcement method for the trigger.
Posted Image
For the plunger rod I pushed two small threaded rods on each side of the break and filled it with 5-minute epoxy.

Laser Sight:
I used an airsoft laser sight in the original barrel. I drilled a hole through the caseing for the button. I had to solder in a push-on push-off button.
Posted Image

Silenced:
I packed the inside with foam piping insulation to make it as quiet as possible.

The Finished Product:

Ranges:
Flat
Highest: 76’
Lowest: 60’
Average:72’
Angled
Highest: 106’
Lowest: 93’
Average:100’

(all ranges were made with 1.5” stephans made with a 0.5” long sheet metal screw for weight)
(all ranges were measured by extremely precise marching band steps)

Yup, I still hate everybody who's even in close proximity of a Crossbow. It's a very clean looking though. It does my heart good to see a clean mod on a Nerf gun.

Nice mod, You probley already know this, but if you add rubber bands it'll add a bit more range. But anyways, nice clean mod, and the paint job is nice.

Oh, is hell a nerf war? I thought he meant the place of eternal damnation.
But no, if it is a war I probably can't come unless it's in Texas.

Not all that scarce. I'm here.

Nice xbow. I'm possibly getting one in a bit and might consider using your breech... I don't know hough I'm probally going to keep it stock. He went through alot of trouble to keep it like that...

Add some rubber bands and a dt3 spring. It will give it an extra 10-20 ft.

How do you slobber that bad?

Looks great! Nice background behind the name too.

Very clean job on the bolt action.

What do you play in marching band? When I was in high school, I played the lower bass for 2 years and then the tri's (which were replaced with quads) the second 2 years.

Again, nice job!

I play Alto Sax (Sophmore)

I have some really nice 1/2" thick black bands I'm gonna add soon. For an example of one you can check the mod pictures thread for my new NF.

About the breech, the router made the cleanest cuts imaginable, although the air seal is not 100%.
I think the barrel might be to long. I designed the breech so that the brass would have no cuts at all.
It has 12" of brass which I think is hurting range. I might saw off 2 inches. (No pun intended)

It looks good for a modest not too over-the-top like some of them are. Maybe an integration...

You look like one of the Knights who say Ni.

I don't know how far you Texas Nerfers are willing to travel, but if you can make it up to Georgia/South Carolina Zaxbys and I are trying to get some stuff started.

The more crossbows the merrier. Looks like a good mod, I hope Lilith serves you as Sara has served, and is continuing to serve me.

I really like the PJ, but for a name that has a godess of lust and lure, you should add some purple and black swirls :)

I like how clean it looks, its really good looking. What did you do to the plunger?

Good work.
How does the breech work?
Is the laser sight semi accurate?
It seems like you put it in a very good spot.

Nice helmet. I am always looking at wearing new hats in my videos maybe I should look at some kind of helmet for the next video.

I don't get my kicks out of you,
I don't feel the way I used to do.
I know its bad,
After what we had,
But I’m just not the angel you knew.

Lookin' pretty snazzy. I'm personally opposed to laser sights/scopes of any kind, but hey -- it's your instrument of destruction. I have to say, the breech is very nicely done. Take good care of her now, and she'll take good care of you, ya'hear?

Thanks for adding it to the Show Off your Crossbow Thread, too.

I've had some trouble using my dremel to create slots for breeches in my brass/PVC. I wasn't sure if the higher RPM from the dremel would crack/destroy the material. Did you use a router table or some other kind of setup? Good job on the X-bow all together.

Paint: Krylon Ultra-Matte Black and Krylon All-purpose Fast-Dry Red.

Breech: I had some complex sketches and drawings, but they got taken up for "dangerous content" at school.
I might post a seperate write up for the breech plans. I used a fabricated router jig to keep the cuts straight. One of the downsides is that when the breech is open the brass sticks out about 5".

Laser: It's pretty accurate, and very well placed. I will probably scrap it because it's not very nescesary, the space could be much better used with a 2K integration or otherwise.

It gets 76'. If you can handle an LBB, you can handle an xbow.

ANYway, NICE mod!!! I love the breech, and you made everything so clean and...saxy? Hehe... Great job.

I meant that I am still a newbie and wielding such a legendary gun would be wierd, for me.

Nice. It's good to see something other than your standard singled Crossbow (plus integrations?).
Are you sure the 9/16" brass gives a perfect seal? I have an AT2K with a 9/16" breech and a 19/32" breech cover. The 9/16" brass needed some E-tape for it to fit in the PVC.
