All you will need is:
Longstrike x1
Nitefinder x1
Dremel x1
Hot glue gun x1
Hot glue
Epoxy putty
17/32 brass (optional)
cpvc coupler x1
cpvc (optional)
Maverick spring x2 (optional)
electrical tape
super glue
First off, you want to cut down your Nitefinder plunger tube:
Add the Longstrike spring rest to the front:
You need to shave down the front of the spring rest's screw ports a little.
In order to fit the plunger tube into the shell, you need to shave out the shell like so:
The spring rest end of the plunger tube should catch on the edge of the curved part of the shell.
Add epoxy putty to the rail that the inverse plunger used to slide on, then press the protruding part of the spring rest in to the epoxy putty.
Remove the spring rest/plunger tube and allow the putty to cure.
In order to fit the catch into the shell, you need to sand down the inside of the shell like this:
Test the nitefinder catch in the shell regularly in order to get a perfect fit, like this:
Those two holes in the first picture allow you to screw together the nitefinder catch.
To make the seal between the bolt and plunger tube, cut half of a cpvc coupler and dremel a groove in it like so:
Wrap it in electrical tape and add two o-rings:
Now, there are two designs of bolt that can be made. The first method involves cutting the stock barrel just behind the air restrictor and adding a length of cpvc:
The cpvc should be just long enough to reach the back of the coupler when the bolt is all the way forward.
Another method of making the bolt involves cutting off the end of the old bolt:
Trace out the shape on to 17/32 brass:
Cut out the brass and super glue it inside the old bolt. Be sure to sand the lip of the brass to allow better dart feeding.
You need about 6" of brass.
In order to use the blaster, cut the handle off of the nitefinder plunger rod.
For the finishing touches, cut a hole in the back end of the Longstrike to allow the plunger rod to travel through.
If you have two maverick springs, glue the two end to end and replace the stock nitefinder spring to add power.
Here's how all the internals should fit:
You now have an indoor war worthy blaster that looks awesome! Enjoy.
