Very simple breech. Snap-Fix is a repair coupling for 1/2" (or 3/4") PVC. It snaps over the section of leaky PVC pipe and is cemented on permanently. Without the cement, it slides nicely over PVC. It costs $2 at the local Ace.

Total length, 2-3/4". With 1/2" buffer on either side, 1-1/2" stefans fit easily.

Mine only opens 1" because I put a tab under the cover to 'lock' it. Given that I've a coupler at the end of it, that was unnecessary.

Notice the tab in the upper half.

If you have a Dremel and pipecutter, it's 15 minutes or less.

Nice, I've never seen one of those. I'll have to hunt one down.

Sweet, this would be perfect for my Pistol Splat that has a PETG breech that sometimes has air leaking out of the dart hole.

It's not air tight, but not insanely loose. I mounted it on a 4B and tested by blowing into it.

- Left on by itself, you can feel a slight breeze when blowing into the breech from it escaping under the halves, but it's not enough to move my hair.

- With a loop or two of tape, it's "puff your cheeks" airtight, but not 4B airtight. Firing a 4B into my plam with it will still lose some air.

The two halves slide independently by themselves anyhow, so I'll be wrapping them with tape when I buy and use more.

Also, I have some insanely thin (and annoying sticky) box tape. I may toss a layer or two under the next one, without adding the inward facing tab, to see if that will seal things up enough.
