Step 2: Pop out the peg with a screwdriver
Step 3: Wrap E-tape around your barrel of choice until it fits snug, then glue it in.
Step 4: Reassembly. Close the shell, the switch/trigger thing shouldn't be lined up correctly(unless your extremely lucky), then cock the gun. Now line up the switch and screw it together. Close up of the catch placement:

The way it works:
Push down the barrel until it clicks. The click is the plunger rod on the catch. Then, let go. The barrel should go up because of the extension spring, much like the maverick cocking handle. Then, push the switch back and it will push the catch, letting go of the plunger and the force of the spring, which pushes air through the barrel.
Before, the orange collar would catch the barrel and you were supposed to clip the "arms" on the barrel. Then you would push up on the switch to make the barrel fly out and the arms pop out to either side. Then you'd have to push the switch down to shoot the gun.
Ranges: I'd guestimate 35-40 feet flat, which is pretty good for a gun the size of a BBB arrow
