Well here it is.

Sorry for it looking crappy, but I had neither the time nor the patience to make it look pretty as hell. So, therefore, most of the things aren't to scale, or aren't done in much detail. So I'll try to explain some of it.

First off, the barrel may be longer or shorter, depending on how it performs. Second, the handle may be longer or shorter, depending how I like it. Third, I realized after I started making it that I didn't compensate for the thickness of the PVC. Keep that in mind. Those were the unimportant parts.

Now, probably the most confusing part is the trigger assembly. I'm going to attempt to have a trigger that goes into the PVC tube. The trigger will be attached to a guitar string, or fishing line, which will in turn be attached to the valve. When you pull the trigger, in theory, the string will pull the valve and open it. (Note, this is in THEORY...a lot of things work in theory...hell, communism works in theory...)

Another confusing part may be the plunger/air tank assembly. The plunger probably won't be that long, but I was too lazy to go in and change it on the image. Think of a WW2-era Sten gun. With the mag sticking out of the left side of the gun. Same idea, except the mag is further back, and has a plunger sticking out of it that's parallel to the barrel. The air wont go into the handle, because it will (preferably) be blocked off. The only way it will go is out the barrel when the valve is opened.

That's the basic idea. Thoughts? Questions? Suggestions?

[EDIT] I just realized that the measurement units aren't correct either. Apparently I used feet ( ' )...inches is " I believe... Forgive me, for I am a very tired Canadian.

Your actually doing that design eh? What kind of valve are you using, and whats the trigger going to be made out of?

It's gonna be a ball valve. The trigger will probably be made out of anything I can find, or a trigger off a broken gun.

If its a ball valve, then the ball valve is also a trigger...Dont use a ball valve, if you plan on actually using the gun, a ball valve will make the shot very unsteady, and it'll be slow opening, decreasing airflow and power.

the gun looks pretty good. i was also wondering (since this is a topic about homemades), does anyone have one of those sinks that has the little hose thing attached? it seems like if you modify it and add a whole bunch of stuff that might be a good trigger. also a hose that has one of those spray things.

Get an image host.

Photo Bucket is an excellent one, with hot linking.

Next, upload a picture to the site, and your album.

Use the image tag, like this:

Insert your picture to get this:

A nice picture of Fenix, from StarCraft.

There you have it, how to post a picture.

What in the hell do you mean by that? Please revise your post to make it easier to understand, and then I can help.

When you take a picture with a digital camera, the picture is stored on the memory card, and you can then download it onto your computer via a USB port. That's all I can make out from your post...

I think he's asking if he can hotlink a picture from a digital camera. The answer is: no.

To get a picture from a digital camera you must first:

1. Take the picture (obviously).
2. Hook the camera up to your computer with USB or FireWire.
3. Transfer the pictures from the digital camera to your computer with the program that came with the digital camera.
4. Get an image host (a good one, as said above, is PhotoBucket.
5. Upload the picture from your hard drive to the image host.

You may then hotlink to a forum, personal website, or anything else you want. Hope that clears things up for you.
