Ok everybody, my current ATC2k (Airtech Carbine 2000) broke, so I went and bought another one from my good friend, Blackfox. For some reason I don't comprehend, he plumers gooped the inside of coupler, half way up, so that goop was sticking to the white thin piece in the middle. So when I ripped off the coupler to put mine on, that thin white piece, snapped off. Now, I'm thinking, "
Oh frick, i'm screwed." But then I realized this could solve a problem I had with my airtech before. When I loaded my dart into my barel, I had to push it in a couple of inches, because the small white peice prohibited my dart from being flush to the end of the PTEG.
So this is what I did.
Supplies needed:
19/32nds brass
Plumpers goop
Hacksaw
Ok, so first take the airtank of your at2k and saw that aforementioned white piece with your hacksaw, like so
Then, Cut a 1-2inch segment of 19/32nds brass and plumbers goop it on to the airtank. Like so
Finished product:
Sand down the outside of your barels, grind the brass out profusely, and there you have it. A nice easy way to add about 10ish feet to your airtech 2000.
