Was feeling bored last week, so I went to my local Targets store and picked up a BBB and used my Gunblade Barrel mod on it.
Here's a short clip of me testing it:
EDIT!! Aug 31 2008
A quick edit~
I wasn't very satisfied with the mod written above. I read from other's posts that their modded BBB's could reach ranges of 90-100ft on flat shots while mine only did 70's , so I went back to Targets and picked up another BBB and headed down to the new Home Depot that opened up.
They had this strange sized pvc pipe that I've never seen before.
It's a half a mil too tight to fit normal sized darts so I had to sand the insides a bit.
This time I kept the stock barrel's orange barrel to hold the "pvc". It too, was a mil too tight to fit the "pvc", so I had to sand its' insides a bit as well.
Now to take care of the insides
This time I only took out the AR peg and the spring that pushes it forward (leaving the AR alone).
See that stolen pic for a better understanding.
Also, as for the stock compression spring, the spring is actually pretty good. In my previous BBB mods, the springs were stretched and the results were less then satisfying, so this time I'd thought I try it "as-is", and was quite surprised. As I had mentioned before, the previous BBB mod reached an average distance of 70's, but with this mod, even with the wind blowing against me, I shot it 1,368 inches on a flat shot! That's 114 feets!
Anyways, here's what it turned out to look like~
On a side note, while at Targets I also picked up a Nerf Recon and...
