OK! So my schedule has been worked out. And since I will not be able to attend my family reunion in CA I decided to go ahead and host a War out here in the Pacific North West. So just to lay out the ground work heres some initial details.

Location

Marymoor park Redmond WA is the location
6046 West Lake Sammamish Parkway Northeast

Since Marymoor is a pretty big park We will hang out in the more secluded area so that outside interfearance is minimal.



If you are driving be aware that there is a parking fee of $1.00 at the park.

There is also a Subway incase you get hungery

The rule set that I would like to employ here is the standard rule set or rules of ediquitte.

If you have not read thru this I highly reccomend doing so as the expectation of following these simple rules will be in effect. Failure to follow the no douchebag rules will get a warning. Continued douchbaggery will result in your being asked to leave.

Games that I'd like to see played at this event will be

Team Deathmatch - With a 4/20 rule

Center Flag

And possible others depending on time, interest and people attending.


We can set aside some time for trading and sales and of course a lunch break.

I will have Stefans for sale for those that need ammos. I will also offer some basic mod services for those that would like.

For those of you youngins I would like for you to be dropped off by your parent and for them to be fully aware that you will be nerfing. I am not to be held responsible if you get hurt. Nerf at your own risk. but do understand that eye protection is MANDATORY no exceptions. I do have a few extra DTG goggles I can loan out, as well as a few modded cheapo loaner guns.

This sucks, I live in Redmond and won't even be able to go. I have a Baseball game that day at noon and will most likey not be attending that day. How long will the war last? I'll probably get home around 3:00-4:00, and I might be able to make it for a few hours, because it's just a short 2 min. drive down to Marymoor.

I just mapquest'd this and it looks like the drive won't be too long. My schedule's usually really open, so I could probably work out any date.

OK so an update or a proposed change that those that wanna attend might wanna discuss.

I have a couple members that don't work well with the current date that is proposed. So I wanted to toss it out there and see how many people would be opposed to changing the date of the war to the 21st instead of the 28th.

So speak up if you don't care or if this will stop you from being able to attend. I wanna set this up so as many people as possible can attend.

The 21st for me is the same as the 28th. I have a game that day and won't be able to come until around 3:30. You pm'd me saying Friday's and Saturday's right? Well the 20th and the 27th are looking good for me right now.

Well tho fridays do work for me for the most part. I'm not sure how well that will work for the majority since most people are probably working on fridays. But again its totally left to the majority. Whatever day we can get the most people out nerfing is all I'm concerned with.

Ok, Blacksunshine said Friday's are fine for him. So if we get the same amount of people we would have on Saturday hopefully we can change the date to a Friday as this would be a better day for me. I'd like to hear more responses, I know Bomberman and Dayko live in Washington too.

This event is now going to be hosted the 27th.

One more thing we will be adding to the mix is range testing for those of you that want an official record of how far your modded gun shoots.
My ruler measures up to 1000' so I think I have just about anyone covered.

Sadly I think this is going to have to stay on the 27th. It was set for the 28th but it seems like more people will be avalible to come on the 27th. Would it be possible at all for that to work out for you?

There is no way I can do Fridays. Can we try to push the date back into some time next month? Would that be ok with every one? Because I would really like to make it to this one.
