#260981 Deploy Cs-6 Sneak Peek
Posted by J-DUB on 06 January 2010 - 06:29 PM in General Nerf
I found a listing on a Chinese[?] auction site for the Deploy. More pics and angles, check that out.
I think this image is the most interesting:
You can see the spring which means it's definetly a recon like we suspected. Still super sweet looking...I like the looks of it so far. The ability to collapse into a more portable package, is a plus for transporting it. Might be a good assassin gun, with the aid of a backpack. I see modding potential. Slap a maglite, a halogen bulb or some strong LEDs in there for a blinder. I like putting flashlights in my guns anyway.
The whole transforming aspect appeals to me. If nothing else this could be a fun screwing around with gun.
Agreed, I wonder if this will knock the Recon off it's throne. It's more compact than the Raider, is cooler than the recon... the only thing it doesn't have is a replaceable stock.
It may be to push the stock back just saying

thats they only size of brass i had it isint important but the name is sawed of shotgun you knowYou're probably loosing a lot of range with that short barrel. Is it really that important that the gun look stock? Incidentally, I discovered that a 1/2 inch PVC coupler fits those massive stock darts nicely.

put the whole assembly back together
Put the springs together and back into the plunger etape the orange piece that stops the spring from getting out of the plunger it will make putting the gun back together less stress full
tis is what it should look like
Reassemble it and their u go a super stealth mod that u would never expect it was modified
sorry about the freaking huge pics my first post
I cannot check ranges with Stefan darts but with a stock buzz bee dart 40+ feet

Next grab the plunger and remove the shock absorber
get a thick piece of foam im using pipe insulator
Cut that into a small enough circle to fit into the center of the plunger tube
Next step is improving the horrible seal on the gun using electrical tape
Go around 3 times well it matters how thick ur tape is it should look like this
New spring addition is crucial so i put a bbb spring and a recon spring
Fancy holes in the trigger
Next remove this piece
their are 4 screws remove all of them and get this off
remove this piece and set it aside u will need it later
drill the center out of the main barrel
make sure ur brass can slide freely thought that piece
then take the piece you set aside and drill that out till your brass can also slide freely through that piece too
Next sand out the small hole at the end of the plunger tube till u can barely squeeze the brass into it

Hear it is stock
lets get started.
start by unscrewing the gun their is a hidden screw under the for grip but u soul figure that out easily
internals pic
This is what we will focus on mainly today
this is almost identical in size to a longshot plunger tube
The multiple catch plates for selective power
The large and powerful spring
Compared to a bbb spring on the right
weird catch but i understand it well
and spring
dont post more on the way
