Why don't you do barrel mods on your nite finders? The swap should give you more power.

Thanks for the tip on the pistol axe, but I've been making h2h weapons before I got into nerf so I know what I'd do.

I'd take pipe insulation to make it have more give and I'd use a "stack" of foam taped together and then formed into the blade's shape with a cutting implement.

Nice. I especially like the second one.

No, but its an actual prop used in the Blade II film.

I think it was in Blade II that there was a guy with a set of guns that had axe blades on the gun from the tip of the handle to near the barrel tip.

Here it is.

I'm thinking of doing this to an extra nite finder.

Welcome, and are any of your guns modified?

#70271 Some Fresh Mods From Me

The 5 use Titan kind of reminds me of the sm5k, where it can fire different types of ammo by swapping out barrels.

Thanks Rings.

#70249 Lbb Pump Handle

Posted by Paloose on 01 January 2006 - 07:38 PM in General Nerf

I just had a few friends over and we played various games and during one of our rounds the pump handle snapped off of the shaft, not on the shaft but directly wher the handle is connected. I have run beads of hot glue around the handle but I was wondering if there is a better way to fix this.

#69993 First Gun?

First gun that got me into NERF was my brothers autogrip. I loved the way it flipped into my hand.

#69870 Spring Or Air Powered Guns

Custom Snake: euphemism was correct

Manual guns would be like the ramrod, blast-a-ball, ball-blaster, etc. etc.

#69848 Spring Or Air Powered Guns

I have searched all 53 pages of general nerf and I have not found a poll on this subject. Please vote based preferences of reliablity, power, fun, etc. etc.

I myself prefer spring due to reliability and thier high rate of fire.

The AT2K is real easy to modify and the AT3K is only a little bit harder. The blast bazooka being even easier to mod than the 3K. In fact the bazooka was the first blaster that I modified. The nite finder is another easy mod where you take out the air restrictors and put a new barrel on.

In fact all of the guns previously mentioned by me are easily modified.

I'm rather fond of the AT2K, AT3K, lanard blast bazooka, nite finder, and as of now the hornet. But these are only a few of the good guns out.

#69821 The Luger

Posted by Paloose on 24 December 2005 - 09:02 PM in Modifications

Does it look as nice with the brass added? Like did you wrap the barrel in e-tape to keep the original look?

man_with_many_guns:
yeah, all of them are of that quality but the 12th century norman sword is the only that one is sharp though, and the reason for the others is that I do reinact and it is for saftey reasons, and no I am not a drug dealer. I don't even have a job, so it's all from birthday\christmas money and a small allowance.

I have 4 swords in my collection, none of which are katanas, all are 9th+ century European but My best quality piece is a 12th century norman sword and is 3/16" high carbon spring steel and has been tested through a steel to steel test. And since I'm too lazy to post a pic. I will give you the link.

Sorry but the most I could get is a sucky picture so they must not make it anymore because it's not on any sites. It uses the same ammunition as the Uruk-cross bow but I got mine 3 years ago and have since modded mine to shoot micros and I don't have measurement on range but I'd guess it gets a good 45-50 ft.

They also used to sell a LOTR Lurtz bow, like the NERF version it uses the pullback system but it uses elastic like the Uruk-Hai crossbow instead of springs.

It is pretty sweet but did you make it for actual use or just for kicks?
