I found this forum accidentally about three months ago. I loved what you guys were doing with these paintjobs, I just had to try for myself. Here are the two that I have done. The first was a Maverick.

I've since painted the handle a dark brown, with acrylics. But in this pic, it's all spray paint.

My second, I just finished this weekend. I found the Tek 10 at a thrift store and thought it would make for good practice. I went with a Halo inspired paintjob.




This one was spray paint as the base, and then a mix of acrylics and spraypaint for the weathering and such.

I'm having a ton of fun painting these. I've bought two other Mavericks and I have a Longshot on my xmas list. Can't wait to get started on those. If only it wasn't so friggin' cold out in the garage!

Thanks guys! Got it open and started my paint job. I'm going to be trying for a Halo Spartan inspired paint scheme. We'll see how it comes out.
