Has anyone modded the Pyragon for firefly tech?

31 March 2013 - 12:38 PM

I have been searching for, unsuccessfully, either a breakdown of the firefly tech clips or someone who modded the Vortex Pyragon to use the firefly tech with it's 40 disc clip.
I saw the clip internals on this site and thought the barrel of the gun might be the better place for led's but that would only charge the single disc and only for a second.
Anyone have any good ideas for this?

I am a modding newb, only having done my maverick with the removable cylinder (removed air restrictors, etc.), pennies and stretched spring.
So any help you can offer would be appreciated.

Thanks,

LED stefans?

19 April 2011 - 12:21 PM

Hi All,

Recently my interest in nerfs has been relit as everyone in my office has them and we engage in nerf skirmishes on a daily basis. Most of us have modded our guns if only to remove the air restrictors.
I was thinking of making some stefans to try out in my modded maverick rev-6 (rem air restrictors, 4 pennies behind spring, total barrel removal). I was thinking it would be cool to find a way to make light up darts and wondered if anyone has used an led and battery for weight in a stefan and to make it light up?

Medieval Weapons

19 July 2004 - 07:38 AM

Hello All!

I am new to these forums and to "Nerf"-ing in general. Some friends of mine are starting a LARP (Live Action Role Play) game in Connecticut. They want to include bows as a part of the game. The dilemma we have run into so far is that recently there have been no bows or crossbows in the nerf lineup. In addition, the normal nerf weapons either don't fly far or don't fly accurately. The arrows would need to be mostly foam as to not cause any harm to anyone. The only recent ones we have found that we like are the Arrows that come with the "Air Zone" crossbow put out by toys-r-us. If anyone has any ideas, we are all ears.

Thanks,

Ben
