Topics I've Started

Ecno - October 11 - Coplay, Pennsylvania

27 August 2008 - 02:32 PM

October is looking wide open at this point, so I figured I'd step up. It's been well over a year since the last successful ECNO, so I hope people are ready to try the venue again.

Where:

3154 N Front St
Whitehall, PA 18052

Once you arrive at this address you will follow a fairly long driveway to an American Legion. Please park behind the building or instruct your parents to do so. I don't want to get into shit with the powers that be at the Legion.

Pictures are here and here(Higher res, but it's just a directory).

When:

October 11 - 10am-6pm.

Who:

Definite (11-12)

Rambo
Gears
zach attack (+1)
Texansharpshooter (+1-2)
TeamBaggs(+1)
Kuhlschrank
keef (+1)

More than likely (3-5)

NerfOnFier
Echnalaid (+1-2)
Dark Shrimp

Maybe (4)

Thom
Ice
DX
Groove

Miscellany:

As far as gun power goes, I'm one of the more lax people. However, if any of the following happen, I will have to ask you to not use the gun anymore:
1. Anyone fears for their safety.
2. Anyone bleeds. If, for some reason it's a freak accident that a bb came out of a stefan then this rule will not necessarily apply.
3. A general consensus is reached that a certain gun is "stacking" the teams.
4. Singled Titans and 5ks will not be allowed.

Additionally, no guns powered by anything other than air, spring or battery will be permitted - CO2-powered automatics like The Eyes of Fire will be allowed.

If no one objects, pizza will most likely be provided for lunch. This worked out well last time, I think. We're pretty into the woods so I think it would be a big time waster for everyone to pack their shit up, go get food and then come back.

Mod Difficulty

11 July 2007 - 08:15 PM

I don't know if this would be possible/easy to do, but, maybe someone well versed in mods(Angel, Slug, etc.) could develop a rating system to tell people how hard the mod is to do. I mean, sometimes you can just tell by looking at it that it's way to hard for you, but it would be nice(for people newer to modding) if they might be able to tell before they start a mod if they will be able to do it. Just a thought. Comments?

Ecno

CANCELLED due to scheduling conflicts(on the part of the attendees, not the host).

Collegespot

I know most of you aren't in college yet, but there's a good number of us who are.

My brother just launched CollegeSpot.com. It's a free site where you can list anything you want to sell to fellow college students. You can meet on campus and exchange goods for goods or goods for money, or you can ship cross country to other students, it's your choice. You pick whether or not you deal with e-commerce and shipping or not.

You must have a valid college email to sign up, but if you list an item you are automatically entered to win up to $3000.

Any questions, feel free to post here.
