ok i believe that that is the light/sound system from a starwars clone blaster, so you would want the light by the barrel somehow, or right under the clip import, or above, and the speaker can go anywhere that u can fit it, and drill holes so the sound can come out, you might need to extend the wires with some more wire, and some solder.

I tried the exact same thing but with a clear blue one. while im not sure if theres a difference i will tell you right now that iw wont work considering, have you seeen how small that plunger is?

its like

O====== that big<<<and your not getting enough pressure to pressurize a nerfdart unless ur planning on reaaaally small shotgun darts.

Wow...I like it...and im not that big of a fan of guns with scopes. What are the ranges on that? mine gets good ranges and in thinking of doing this. You should get it painted next, to complete the overall look. ^_~
