Awesome mod once again!

What will happen to the rest of the gun if the nub and V on the bolt slide are removed?
I know the nub is just to extend the slide so the the dart tooth is forced downwards? Will it still work as well without the full nub? does the slide sometimes miss the dart tooth?

I am about to start doing this mod and I will post my pictures. I am using acrylic sheeting as the grip because I can mould it easily. I am leaving space for clips to hold a '2 AA's Mini MagLite' like what some modders were trying to do with the 'Longshot Sopmod'. I am also not cutting away the bi-pod holders and pipe like things near the clip. See how it goes, eh?

This is the best mod for the Longshot I've seen. A definite addition to my gun.

A few questions;

- How much of the inside wall of each side did you file down so that the metal bars could slide without getting caught?
- Can you please take some more photos of the dart tooth.
- What's a latter?

Yeah, like on an AK.

Even though it's not auto (or even semi-auto), it would be pretty cool have a "banana clip" even if it is straight and changes direction once, unlike the AK's clips which are rounded the whole way. This would be for cosmetic purposes obviously but I still want it to be usable.

I didn't really want a mag more then two clips long, but I wanted to know that I would have to make my own spring to do so - thanks CaptainSlug

Is it possible to modify the follower slightly so that it will travel around a slight bend (I can't remember the angle but it's about 10 degrees or so).

I am yet to open my clips but I have noticed (from FA_24's YouTube video I think deminstrting Stefan modified clips) that the follower is a bit "jerky" and has a bit of room either side of the follower. I'm wondering if you may be able to sand down the sides or something.
