American Gladiator Nerf Turret

21 January 2008 - 05:46 PM

I was watching American Gladiator because I had nothing better to do, and In one of the challenges the goal was to evade fire from a nerf turret. I was wondering if anyone else noticed.

Scrap Parts + Imagination = New Gun?

21 May 2007 - 05:55 PM

I'm wondering if anyone knows of a home made gun I could create using spare parts from a scrapped Maverick and Scout blaster. I do not want to throw them away, nor do I want to have them decay in my already messy room. If there is a design I could work on, what would I need to purchase?

Thank you.

How Did You Start?

19 May 2007 - 11:35 AM

I'm curious as to how other players became interested in nerf. As a kid, I didn't own nerf guns, maybe I'm making up for lost time.

Anyway, my friend in college discovered nerf wars were popular in dorms. He sort of brought it back to me and we started to play with our 5-6 immediate friends. So far we only play Hunted (protect the VIP). We typically play one a week, Friday nights with players ages between (17-21) We rope in a couple more each week, and we hope to get some large scale games going. My younger brother has started a very similar group amongst his friends.

Crossfire Questions

19 May 2007 - 11:16 AM

I have read some of the topics about the Crossfire, but I'm not sure I completely understand all of the terminology and the abbreviations that the nerf community uses.

My question is how to successfully enhance to gun. So far I have added a Maverick spring to the stock and now the pin between the slider is bending and the gun is extremely hard to cock. Also I'm not completely sure how to remove the air restrictors (i hear their removal increases range) or even what they look like. Furthermore, I'd to know if anyone could link me to a Crossfire modification page that involves basic house hold items and would exclude things I'd have to buy.

Thank you all very much.
